Witty Toys Official Mermaid and 'Sweet Fairy' Images

I was going to do just episode reviews this week, but a friend of mine requested I check these out and post my opinion on them too. So here you guys go!

http://magixjourney.blogspot.com/2013/04/winx-club-sirenix-mermaid-and-sweet.html There's the images.

Witty Toys released their official promos of their new Mermaid dolls. We saw these designs years ago on those old Sirene books, it's nice we're finally getting dolls of them. It's too weird they're using Jakks heads though... I'm thinking the final dolls could have them, but it still doesn't make sense to me.

Going left to right, my opinions on them:

Aisha

She's probably my least favorite of the group, she's not bad or anything but her tail is very simple and plain and I'm not big on how bright her tail is. Her top doesn't have any special stuff to it either, only that one frill. But she's not bad. I'd probably rate her 6/10. Nice, but plain.

Bloom

I surprisingly really like Bloom, which is odd since I never liked that design in the Sirene books. The color they made her tail is perfect and I love those little frills coming off it at the top. It's simple, but with a little extra flair which really improves the design as a whole. I'd give her a total 7/10.

Stella

I think Stella's probably my favorite. I'm impressed they kept the oddly tan skintone from the Sirene books, it looks really good! I like the little star at the top of her tail and how she has short frills coming off all of it at the seams. Though I don't particularly like that one piece of fabric hanging off, it doesn't contribute to the design at all. Her top is a little plain as well but I think that it's balanced out by the super busy tail. I'd give her a total 7.5/10 or so.

Flora

I'm not too big on Flora. I like the frills coming out everywhere but they're upstaged by that bright green stuff on her top and arms. I think it would've worked out better if they hadn't had any on her top and just made it like Bloom's but pink, and then kept the stuff on her arms but made it pink. The bright green is too overpowering though. I'd give her a 6.5/10 or so.

What do you guys think? I wish they'd made a Musa and Tecna too, since those two have amazing Sirene designs. But I'm happy they went and made these anyway. If they came to America (which they won't, I'm just saying that like 'if they were readily available in any store') I'd probably buy at least Bloom and Stella, maybe the other two too.

'Sweet Fairy' limited doll is pretty nice too, but I'm not too big on her. I really like her outfit, but not with wings and powers... that's not a fairy outfit. That's like an odd, girly date night outfit. I like it, but not with wings and all.

Speaking of wings. Those are actually pretty nice ones. Nothing special though, just average.

I don't really have much to say about this doll. I'd probably buy her if she came to America (same thing) but I wouldn't like her as much as some of the other, not limited dolls. Overall I'd probably rate her about a 6.5 or so out of 10.

What do you guys think of her?

New Jakks Pacific SDCC Daphne Doll

LOOOOOOOK what's coming out..!!!!

You guys better be SUPER excited because man this is amazing. She's officially on ToysRUs Canada's site! http://www.toysrus.ca/product/index.jsp?productId=20365846

I love that they actually made her orange. None of the other companies had the guts to do that and look at how amazing it turned out. She's orange and she looks exactly like the CGI.

I think it'd be better if the dress was a color a bit further from her skin, but hey I'm not gonna complain too much about this because we're getting a Daphne.

I love the things on her arms. They look torn. Which works for a spirit.

It doesn't look like she has a face; that's kinda cool and creepy at the same time. I mean, of course I see lips, but that's because they're molded on. I wonder if she'll even have like, eye outlines or something.

I'm loving the molded on hair/mask/hat whatever that is. I know people would probably complain it's molded and not real hair but MAN, do you really want that in real hair? That doesn't even look like real hair in the TV show!

So it also looks like she's going to be a Comic Con doll. That's a little bit of a pain but since Winx Club isn't extremely popular it should be fine. Blue Bloom went up on TRU Canada's website like this, too-- so my guess this girl is going to be limited to 1010.

I wonder if they will make equivalents to Silver and Gold Bloom, too? I can't think what they could be though. Maybe one would be 2D Daphne?

But anyway, I am SOOOO excited!!

What do you guys think of her? Do you plan to get her? Do you think they'll make Silver and Gold equivalents?

Review: Jakks Pacific: Pink Enchantix Bloom Doll

Sorry I've been so inactive lately guys. I'm pathetic. @__@ I'll try to do better!

SO, I finally got Pink Bloom. That took a while. I ended up having to get her online. Oh well; at least I have her! I really love her, too. Let's get started!
Let's go Enchantix!
I'm sorry my photos look so horrible this time. I truthfully have no idea what in the world happened. As usual, let's start with the toes and head up!

Her shoes are the same as the Jakks Enchantix and Sophix ones, but instead of blue, green, or orange, they're black. Personally I think it looks pretty cute. They're not clear like the other ones either.

Underneath she has socks. I really don't know how high they're supposed to go. Since I can't get mine up past her knees... not because they're too small, but the dang knee joint is too big. :T Whatever. I'm guessing to her knees anyway.

It's really unfashionable to wear socks with sandals but I think Bloom pulls it off. I like how high these socks are. They're even higher than Believix Flora's.

Next up is her skirt. That thing is detailed, man. It has three layers. None of them are completely full though. The bottom layer is pink, and the material of um... how do I describe it? Those green frilly parts on the Aisha Believix doll. What's that material called? Is it tulle? I think it's tulle but it's a weird kind of tulle.

Anyway. The bottom layer is pink and a little sparkly. Then the next layer up is a nice duller pink, with tons of around that color pink sparkles coated on the bottom part of it. Then the next layer up is super light pink, and coated with lighter, less saturated sparkles than the middle one.

This skirt seems extremely uncomfortable in real life since it barely moves at all but hey. This is a doll. Though can't you imagine fighting evil with a skirt that's super stiff?

Yes, I know this picture is ridiculously bright. I don't even know why.
And then she has this middle black piece I don't even know how to describe. It's... kinda like a corset? But not really. It's really stiff but once again. This is a doll. It has a slit in the middle which at the top of there's a little plastic heart jewel. It's a little tacky but in a cute way.

The bottom edge of it tends to kinda poke up if it was packaged wrong, as you can see in the above picture. It doesn't really make a difference though.

The top edge is lace and really cute!

Underneath that she has a pink... I don't know what to call this material either. DANG it. It's shimmery but not really. It has dots but. Kind of? I'm not even trying to explain it. Never mind.

Anyway. That has a slit at the top too! I really like it. It's also a turtleneck, which makes me unbelievably angry because NOW Jakks does a turtleneck. WHY DIDNT THEY WITH EVERYDAY AND CHARMIX BLOOMS??? Those needed it more!!!

At the top of it is a little bow, which is the same material as that black stiff sparkly thing corset thing. There are so many things on this doll I don't know what are called. I guess that's a good sign.

I really like her gloves! They're just like the ones on Blue SDCC Bloom, but longer.

And here are her wings and face! Her wings are, surprisingly enough, a different mold than normal Enchantix's. Don't know why they did that, but hey, I'm fine with it. I like this mold better. They're really cute and glittery. And the other side is really different! I actually like it better, but there's no switching them. You'll see them in my next photo.

Her face is almost, not quite the same as the Believix/Enchantix one. It's all the same except she has giant silver glitter caked on to her eyeshadow. It's almost comical how much there is but it's adorable and actually really pretty. Other than that though, it's the same.

This is her hair-- and the back of her wings. Her hair is the same as the Believix/Enchantix hair but surprisingly nicer and softer. I don't know if it's just mine or what, but it's actually curled really nicely. Never brush it though.

Never.

Instead of the usual purple rubberbands on that hairstyle this one's got pink.

And here's a comparison of the two girls! They're really, really different.

I think I like Pink Enchantix's outfit better. The colors on normal are better since they're accurate, but the actual clothing itself is much more accurate on Pink. Like, the pieces and parts and all. If you turned them the correct colors, this doll would be the best ever.

You can also see the wing differences in this picture. Normal's are much taller, and there's a gap between the top and bottom parts, while Pink's are shorter and there's no gap. They also have little jewels hanging off while normal doesn't.

I felt obligated to show you guys the differences between the hair. Do you see this? I've never brushed either doll's hair. This is, for the most part, straight out of the box, except I might've moved it around a little on each. Do you see what I mean now by Pink's hair is curled much nicer? Does ANYONE have a nice haired normal one? I know Sophix had nice hair so I'm just wondering.

And last but not least, a pretty useless facial comparison because I still don't know what happened with my photos. Generally the same, but a little different as you can see here, just in the eyeshadow. Any other differences you see in this picture is just my terrible photos.

Overall, I'd rate this doll a 9.5/10. Extremely pretty, and an amazing doll! But I'm not big on the color combo and would've proffered another one. She's $30 which is a pretty big price hike from the other Deluxe dolls, but I do think she's worth it, she's overall much higher quality.

What do you guys think of the doll? Do you like her or normal Enchantix better?

New Witty Toys Sirenix Dolls

http://sphotos-d.ak.fbcdn.net/hphotos-ak-ash4/484311_625142950834704_1630610187_n.jpg

There's a link, since I'm not sure if these images are leaked or what? I'll pull down the link if it turns out they are. :P

Credit to Winxisawesome of One&OnlyWinxClub for posting this on BelieveInWinx forum!

Anyway! I know there's been a lot of confusion about just what these dolls are. They're Witty. No, I don't have any confirmation or anything, but I'm positive that's what they are.

They have Witty bodies. Those definitely aren't Jakks-- Jakks are much more slender and skinny. Less curvy as well.

Yes, I know they have Jakks Pacific heads on them... but Witty's weird. I've seen them do this before-- they modeled their outfits on Jakks dolls. I guess they just stuck Jakks heads on them so they wouldn't be taking pictures of headless dolls because these aren't finished. They most definitely won't come out with Jakks heads, because even apart from that, these are the Believix hairstyles. They'd have unique Sirenix hairstyles if these were the final heads.

Now that that's been cleared up. I actually quite like these bodies. I don't get the lack of accuracy though-- what's up with Flora's tights? Why no pink? They are pink in the show, right? There's also something weird going on with Aisha's outft I can't place.

I doubt these are even the final outfits though, because in case you guys don't remember, Witty released many different images of their Harmonix line before they came out, and they looked way different than the final versions. So maybe these will be more accurate when the time comes.

What do you guys think of them? Do you have a different theory on what they are? Are you excited to see what Jakks does when it's their turn?

MagixJourney's Jakks Pacific Toy Request Petition

We all sit around complaining about how there's no Musa, Tecna, or Aisha in the Enchantix/Charmix lines, or how Musa and Tecna aren't in City Style, and how there's no Roxy Believix doll, and how Jakks won't make any of that fun stuff we want...

Well guess what?!

No more sitting around!! My friend MagixJourney created a petition on his forum. There you can list everything you want Jakks to make-- and why! Then he'll send the topic to Jakks for them to see, and maybe, just maybe, it'll make a difference, and they'll give us Winx fans what we want.

http://magixjourney.forumotion.com/t198-winx-club-jakks-toy-s-request-petition

Here it is! You have to sign up to post, but no worries, it doesn't take long.

It doesn't matter if what you want has already been said-- say it again!! The more people Jakks sees wanting this stuff., the more likely we are to get it. So let your voice be heard! If we all join up and work together, I know we can do this! Can't you imagine?! Walking into a store and seeing a Roxy Believix doll sitting on a shelf. Or a Musa, Tecna, or Aisha Charmix! Come on everyone, we can do it!

JustAnotherCrazyWinxFan posts Pop Disco doll images!

Check out his post HERE! http://justanothercrazywinxfan.blogspot.com/2013/02/winx-pop-disco-dolls-and-some-fall-2013.html :)

Okay, I love it. Even though they went an odd direction with this line-- were they really trying to make it accurate? I mean, it's okay if they weren't but. Tecna and Aisha are wearing pants when they're not supposed to be.

I really like Bloom's hairstyle with it. Sleek, long, and beautiful. Her face looks a little odd in these pictures though, not sure why. I bet it'll look better when the dolls actually start showing up in stores though, because right now it looks like they used the Concert face as a base when by the time these are on shelves the City Style face (which is different!!) will be more of the base. Looks like her pants will be the same material as Concert Bloom with Stage's.

I really like this Stella. I think she might be my favorite out of the line. I definitely like her outfit the best and I'd so wear it myself. Do you know how few of the Winx outfits I can say that about??? :P A lot of people are saying her hair looks more golden than usual, and it does... but I wouldn't be surprised if that doesn't make it all the way to the shelves. :(

Flora looks really plain to me. I think it's partly the fault of that hairstyle. With her two front things that hairstyle doesn't work because it covers up the sides of her head and looks awkward. Kinda like she's trying to hide in her hair. I really like her shirt though and those shoes are the cutest.

Musa looks a little awkward to me but I think it's probably just the image. The colors look odd though too. On the other hand I LOVE her lighter makeup-- it's like the Believix makeup but on the budget faceprint! Though I'm not fond of those tights. Her hairstyle looks really cute too from what we can see-- it's not a bun, you can see some hair peeking out behind the wing. It's an oddly styled ponytail.

Tecna is such a cutie! She's competing with Stella for the spot as my favorite. Okay, I love the material used on her shirt. Why can't Winx use that whenever they want something shiny?! (cough cough, Believix plz). I also really love her hairstyle. They kept it short while still managing to curl it. (cough cough, Harmonix plz). Too cute.

As much as I love Aisha as a character, she's probably my least favorite of the line. I adored the design from the art and show, but this... isn't it. She needs her big tall socks and shorts! Come on Jakks, don't your love me?! (how often do I say that? I'm starting to think Jakks doesn't love me.) I do love how they did the hair though, it looks like two puffy afros. :P

Overall, to be honest I'm so gonna buy all of these. And for a $12.99 pricetag? Score! I might end up having to customize a couple though. (looking at you, Aisha.)

What do you guys think? Will you buy the line? If so, who out of it? Who's your favorite?

Review: Jakks Pacific: City Fashions Stella Doll

I found her at Walgreens! And yeah, she had an $11 price tag. Lame! But I can't resist a new Stella so I uh. Came home with her anyway. And now that I have both her and Bloom I'm just missing Flora. So I need to get Flora. Woops. I just can't stop buying these dolls!

I also got a Harmonix Flora earlier last week at TRU, but I'm gonna review her next. Didn't want to review two Harmonix dolls in a row since they're so similar. So let's get started.

Sorry for the sucky lighting on my photos. Don't know what exactly went wrong, but whatever.
This is the doll! She's kinda plain, but I really like her. Simple and cute, you know what I mean? I may customize her outfit eventually though to make it look like it does in the show.

She has the same unarticulated body as Bloom. No knee posability or anything. Not like these dolls were super posable in the first place though, so I don't really miss it.

Remember that awful bent leg thing I had on Bloom? It's much less bad on Stella, in fact I didn't really notice it. It's still there a little bit, but not really.

Let's look at the shoes.

Her shoes are a recolor of the ones from her Speedix fashion pack, but instead of yellow, they're pink. I like them! They're kind of odd but in a stylish way. If that makes sense. It probably doesn't.

One of the heels is bent slightly though because of poor packaging.

This is her dress! I know it's plain, but I like it. It has two clear plastic straps holding it up. I think it's close enough to the actual show to be considered accurate-- all it's missing is the stars and polka dots. The fabric's really soft too, though it looks odd in certain pictures. The pink band is only on the front, not on the back, and is a ribbon that's been sewn on.

That little fold in her dress near her hips is almost always there, no matter how I pose her. It's a little odd looking but I don't mind it much. It's like Stella rammed into a table or something and it left a dent on her dress. (Okay, maybe that wasn't the best comparison?)

I like that it's not super short. She can sit and her underwear won't show. It goes midway down her thighs, and I know that sounds short, but that's just because Winx thighs in general are super long. Of course anything sounds short on them.

This is her hair, from the back obviously. It was cut much better than Bloom's, and I didn't have to trim it at all to get it to look this way. Bloom's was cut diagonally, it was odd. Messy factory job. But Stella's is much better!

It's super soft and sleek. A little short for a doll, but I like it. It might be nicer with some layering or something but eh, I'm okay with it how it is.

This is her face! Okay, this is the fangirl part for me. As I've mentioned many times before, I adore the faces on this line. They are the perfect Winx doll faces, and I wish they used them more! Come on Jakks, don't you love me?! I review your dolls!

It's like they smashed together Believix and Concert. She has the double-eyelashes like Concert, but the shape of her eyes is the same as Believix's (except maybe a tad shorter.) They made the perfect face! Yet they've only ever used it once! Stella's Design Studio doesn't even have it-- she has a Concert face with this makeup. It's odd.

Her lips are much bigger and thicker than other Stella's. I love it. And her eyebrows aren't tiny little strips on her face. They're actually there.

You can also see her hairstyle from the front in this picture. It's the same as Bloom's-- but it's parted to the right, when Bloom's was parted to the left. It has two hairsprayed parts in the front that are a little shorter than the rest of her hair.

Personally, while I really like this doll, I don't think she hits the $10.99 price she's sold at. Maybe for $8.99 she'd be good, but I think it's overpaying a bit. Then again.. it's obviously not too high priced, or else I wouldn't have bought it!

I'd rate her a 7/10 overall. It'd be lower.. but I love this face too much. But the outfit and hair bring it down to a lower score.

What do you think of her? Would you buy her? Who do you like better in the line, her or Bloom?

Also, still looking for suggestions on what to call a General Opinions section on my tabs! (See where it says Home, About Me, My Episode Reviews, and My Doll Reviews? I need something to call my General Opinions!)

And I just noticed, my blog's hit 30,000 page views! Thank you so much you guys! I never thought I'd be this successful! Really all this blog is is my complaining... but hey, I guess you guys like it! Thanks for reading! :)

Review: Jakks Pacific: Harmonix Aisha Doll

So yesterday I decided to drop by ToysRUs on a whim. I wasn't really expecting them to have anything since it was a while since they last restocked, but to my surprise.. they had the entire Harmonix line! Minus Musa and Tecna, of course.

So I happily got Aisha, and I think I might go back and get Flora sometime this weekend. Reviewing these Harmonix dolls is getting a little hard though-- they all have such similar outfits, it's a challenge to think of unique things to say about them each! But I'll give it my best.

(Also, sorry there's no full-body picture with this review. I did take one, but no matter how hard I tried, I couldn't upload it. I was able to upload the rest though!)

So let's start at the shoes. They're pretty nice! The same mold as Stella and Bloom's, and they change from Morphix purple to the green color of her train. There's glitter molded into them. I don't know if it's just luck or what, but they've stayed up on her legs better then Stella and Bloom's did. Also, just noticing this mold has stars and hearts all over it. Come ooooon, let that just be for Bloom and Stella.

This is her dress! I think it's my favorite so far. Stella's was really plain and while I liked Bloom's, there was something missing. I think Aisha's is the most complete and nice looking. On her skirt there's an underlayer which I think you can see, it's a blue color, with a hint of green. On top she's got a bunch of little green... hmm, there's a word for those. Fishnet? Kind of. Not sure how to describe it, but I think you see what I mean. It's stiff and has a ton of little holes in it. And sparkles! her skirt has a whole lot of those on it.

I still don't know who decided giving all of the girls the exact same purple belt would be a great idea, but whatever. Getting a little tired of seeing it. It's... the same as it was the last two times.

The shirt has that same stiff feel that I complained about with Stella's. It's a nice pastel green, really close to the show. Have I mentioned how much I adore the way Jakks is doing the Harmonix dolls' outfits? While they're all pretty similar, they are like that in the show, and unlike Simba they're actually trying to make it look like you see in the show.

It has one little blue strip sewn on which is the same material as Musa's Believix pants. I love that material. I wish they'd use it whenever they needed anything sparkly.

It also has that one little frill that I didn't photograph very well. It seems a little inconvenient but whatever. It's a doll, not a human.

These are her wings! Personally I think they're my favorite Harmonix wings so far. Look at the colors! It's like... an unnaturally colorful ocean! And all those little oval things that who knows what are supposed to be. But they're pretty!!

Mine's wings actually spilled the mold I think. You know those pink heart clips on the back? One runs out of the heart and onto her wing. Woops. Guess I won't be removing those wings from their slips anytime soon! Oh well. Wasn't planning on it anyway.

Okay, so to be honest, whenever I've seen this doll in pictures she's struck me as pretty lackluster. The main reason I wanted to get her is because.. well, I'm collecting almost all the Jakks dolls, and I love her in Season 5. Not because this doll seemed extra special or anything.

Boy was I wrong! She is gorgeous-- probably my favorite of the Harmonix line so far! I thought her makeup was a little overdone in pictures but in person I think it's perfect. Just look! It's a gorgeous blue that's around the shade of the blue part on her shirt. And her lipstick is a nice purple-y color!

I also love her crown. I've always loved circlets, personally more then tiaras! It's so cool to have one on a doll. If only it came with a "Circlet for you!" (No. That'd be terrible. Scratch that.)

Her hair actually isn't half bad, either! I was expecting some frizzy ratty mess. It's much nicer then that though, take a look!

It's really dark, so I'm not sure if you can see or not. If you can't, try standing up and looking at your monitor from higher up, that always makes everything lighter. But like, that giant shape? That's not frizz or rats, that's giant curls. I love it!

Not sure if you can see or not, but looking at this picture and the last one you might be able to see her hairstyle. It's really cool, and I'm not even sure how they did it. It's like they did that thing where you pull back two pieces on the sides and tie them together, but along with twisting the hair in her part and adding it in there too. It's amazing, and really cool!

Though I definitely wouldn't recommend brushing it. Sorry, but I can already tell if you did you'd end up seeing the horror of Believix Bloom's hair. Just leave it like this and you'll be good though!

It's not the reddish brown color of the show, it's more of a natural dark, dark brown (almost black.) But I don't really mind, I think I like it better actually. It looks gorgeous with the greens of her outfit.

I  really like this doll! Overall I'd probably rate her... 9/10. The only con of these Harmonix dolls is that they're all pretty the same. Once you have one, you'll know what to expect with the other five. Their faces however are all super different, and that (at least to me) makes up for it.

What do you guys think of this doll? Do you plan to buy her? Who's your favorite of the line?

Also, if you guys didn't see, I added some more categories to the blog! Doll Reviews and Episode Reviews. So you guys can choose what you want to look through. Of course, everything will show up on the main page though. Including stuff that isn't Doll Reviews or Episode Reviews. I just did those two since they're my main things.

I also want to have one for general opinions.. kinda like What Happened, Winx Club? And The Dubs of Winx Club. What should I call that? I can't decide.

TimeToPlay Shows Sirenix Prototypes at Toy Fair

Eek!! Super amazing, and just when I started to lose hope of them being at Toy Fair, here they are!! <3 Love you, Jakks!

Credit to Sirenixprime29 on believeinwinx forummotion for getting this out first! http://believeinwinx.forum-motion.com/t1571-sirenix-prototypes-at-toyfair-2013 We're all discussing it there, so feel free to sign up and join us!

So let's check this out.

Okay, whoa... only a minute showing off Winx? Seriously? Hopefully IdleHands or AtamaiiToys will go back later and take some more pictures.

So let's see what we have...

These are interesting. I'm a little disappointed they did molded on tops but I'm kinda doubting that this is the mainline anyway. Seems to me like if they were doing a mainline they'd use the normal haircolors. The skirts look a little cheap but eh, it works.

Another thing that makes me think this isn't the mainline is the fact they only showed off Bloom, Stella and Musa. They would be showing off everyone if this was the mainline. But this is a nice sideline-- I wonder if it'll be color change hair or anything. Their wings are also unusually small and you know Jakks loves to go all out on big wings.

I'll bet that this is a color change line.

And a light-up Bloom doll! That also plays the Sirenix song-- I'll definitely be picking this up. I didn't like the transforming Believix doll because it looked too clunky but this is perfect, not clunky at all.

The wings are also a normal size! I'm loving this.

And then one final screencap to show off everything together.

So what do you guys think?! Personally I'm loving what we're seeing, and I'm so eager to see a mainline and the rest of the girls. And if that weird haircolors line isn't the mainline like I'm guessing-- it's not Bloom, Stella, Flora, it's Bloom, Stella, Musa, how exciting!!! :)

What Fits Jakks Pacific Winx Club Dolls?

Okay, be honest guys. Who doesn't love redressing their dolls? But I've noticed Winx Club dolls are kinda hard to redress.. they're oddly skinny, have small busts, and super long legs. So I decided to do an experiment!

I pulled several different dolls that I had on hand and tried their clothing on Winx Club. And these are the results! Tecna here is gonna be modeling for us.

MATTEL'S HIGH SCHOOL MUSICAL DOLLS

I decided to start with what I thought would most likely fit.  These dolls were released when the High School Musical movies were coming out and they look about the size of current Skipper. They're pretty short, but I figured it would be worth a try because of their smaller bust and about the same size torso.

Hey, this worked pretty well!
And I was right! It fit really well! Now maybe if I could rip off that ugly fluffball on the front it could be someone's permanent outfit. It's slightly loose at the waist-- but it's not like it's falling down or anything. It's just like if you tried to pull it down it would come off easily.

I don't have any more clothing of this size to try on... but I'd say generally, this was a success! This should fit on all Winx girls, so if you're looking for new clothing for them be sure to pick up some of these if you see them.

BRATZ AND MOXIE GIRLZ DRESSES

Bratz pants.. I didn't even wanna try. You don't understand how painful it is taking tight pants off a Bratz doll with their rubber legs. I never want to experience that again. So all you get is a dress, since I know for a fact shirts would be too small.
It was doubtful that these would fit, since Bratz are significantly smaller in the torso then Winx Club, but I figured it was worth a try. Let's see how it turned out...

Tecna's feeling a little cold.
Woops. We're gonna need some pants under there, because Tecna's showing a little bit too much leg. What is a dress on a Bratz doll, is a shirt on a Winx Club doll. Buuuuut... it is a shirt that fits! As long as you have some you know, pants.

So let's try a Moxie Girlz dress!

I guess it works?
It's slightly longer then Bratz which is a plus, and it fits better two, It's slightly loose around the hips though, but generally the same results as Bratz-- you're gonna need some pants.

SIMBA/WITTY WINX CLUB DOLLS

Yep... the European dolls! I decided to take a chance, even though I was pretty sure it wouldn't fit since the torsos on those things are tiny, but hey, who knows? Let's give it a try.

Whoa.... this actually worked!
NOT what I was expecting, but this came out perfectly! I probably should've used Flora, but. Hey, Tecna works too. She looks surprisingly cute in this.

The shirt just barely fit, but it did! The boots are kinda flaring outwards in the front, but it's not that noticeable and I don't think that it really matters that much. I really like how Jakks look in this! Hey Jakks... if you're reading this, take a look at this! Next time try to include just as many details as Simba does so that yours look just as good in their own outfits!

Okay, so if Simba fits on Jakks... let's see if Jakks fits on Simba!

Nope.
My attempt at putting Tecna's Everyday outfit on Believix Flora was quickly defeated, by the fact that I couldn't get these tights over Flora's rubber legs. I'm sure somebody could... but as I mentioned earlier, getting anything over rubber legs that's not a skirt is horrible. So I just gave up and decided to try it without the tights.

That's better!
It fits, but it looks a little... odd. The stomachs on Simba dolls are really small, so her shirt and skirt have come together to look like a dress. Maybe this would work better with pants or something, I don't know.

The shoes fit perfectly though! It was a little hard to get on her, but I did manage it and they look pretty good.

Overall I'd say their clothing can fit on each other, but Jakks on Simba has a few little weird parts.

BARBIE CLOTHING

While Barbie and Winx Club are definitely closest in general shape and height, that doesn't mean their clothing is gonna fit. Barbie is much bigger in the bust which I think is probably gonna cause some problems, but hey, let's give it a try.
...not really.
That doesn't really work. Not sure if my picture shoes it or not, but the straps are way up high. This would have to be altered a whole lot to really work, especially considering right now it looks like Tecna's left breast is falling out of the dress.

MONSTER HIGH BOYS

Monster High girls I know for a fact won't work. I tried one and I couldn't get it up the bust. It was horrendous. But since the boys are a bit bigger, maybe they'll work? Let's see...
Where's Timmy, this is what he should be wearing!
Uh... kind of. I guess. She looks really, really stuffy though, and the moment I lifted her up the shoes fell right off. The pants kind of fit but they're bunchy in parts, and... as I mentioned before, it just looks really, really stuffy.

But I guess if you're into that it works. Right?

So out of all this... I'd say the two that fit Winx Club Jakks Pacific dolls best would be the High School Musical outfits, and the Simba Winx. Bratz/Moxie Girls work too with pants, and Barbie would too with alterations.

Well, thanks for reading! If you have any questions feel free to ask. :) Which look do you like best on Tecna? Besides her original that is.

Jakks Pacific Musa and Tecna Harmonix Dolls

..have appeared in an ad! So, funny story. This morning my friend Jen from BelieveInWinx forum told me that she had seen a commercial with them in it, but couldn't take a picture, and I instantly freaked out because... well, Musa and Tecna Harmonix!!!

So I spent my day watching hours of Spongebob, despite the fact I hate it, because that's what she said was playing when she saw it. And lo and behold...

Nasty quality image, sorry. I literally had to take a picture of my TV screen.

I'm sure some other people beat me to reporting it, but that's fine. I'm still super excited! Just look at them!

Musa is my favorite of the two. I LOVE the bright pink they used on her outfit, even though I know it's probably partially my TV, and even though it's inaccurate I love the curls in her hair. Her wings are also AMAZING looking, if I may say so myself. She's actually probably my favorite of the line!

I'm a little disappointed that they used a crown on her head like that instead of how Aisha's is since hers is like that in the show, but whatever, this works.

Tecna is SUPER cute too! I love her outfit-- the colors are perfect, and from what you can see, even though it's very little, her wings look adorable!

The long hair also looks super cute, though it's really inaccurate.. but hey, pretty!! Right? Can always cut it anyway, but I think I'm gonna keep mine like this. Apart from Mattel's Enchantix Tecna, I think this is the only long-haired Tecna doll.

What do you guys think of them?!

Review: Jakks Pacific: City Fashions Bloom Doll

So today I'm gonna review City Fashions Bloom. It's annoying how similarly named this line is to City Style, but this isn't that. This was that cheap line that resembled the Season 4 basic outfits and was only ever found at Walgreens and some UK stores. Can't remember which ones.

Anyway, let's get started!

I got her for Christmas a while ago. My mom said she found her at Walgreens. She wouldn't tell me the price, so uh. I think it was around $8?

As you can see, I found the notebook I pull paper from for the floor of my photos. No more weird back of the box floors!
This is her! While the outfit is a little sad, overall she's actually a really cute doll. A lot of people write her off because the outfit is so lazy but I think she's worth it if you can get her around $8 or so.

So her shoes are blue heels, with three bows on the front. I think they're reused from her Speedix pack? right? Or maybe the Speedix packed reused them from this doll. As usual, she has the Winx Club Xs on her shoes.

Her dress is cute! While nothing like the Season 4 casual outfit except for the pattern, I think it works. It's a nice soft fabric-- almost reminds me of satin, I'm sure it's not that though. It seems like whatever Disney Store makes their doll clothing out of to me. It ties in the back like Monster High's Basic Lagoona or Clawdeen's shirts do. With a ribbon that comes tied in a bow around her neck.

This is the back of her hair. When I got her it was cut extremely poorly-- for any of you Monster High fans, it looked like the back of School's Out Cleo's hair, with the diagonal cut. One side was a LOT longer then the other.

I ended up trimming it up so it looks fine now. There are a few stands that for some reason are curling up and look bent, but it's the kind of few that if I sat down for about ten minutes I could pull 'em all out. I think it's just the fault of the packaging.

Her hair is really soft! It almost makes me wish Jakks did straight hair all the time. It's really thick too, surprisingly enough. Usually cheaper dolls like this don't have super thick hair, but this is thicker then at least a couple of my higher priced dolls. Everyday Stella for sure.

The front of her hair (as seen below) is two pieces parted to the side. They're hairsprayed, and they're slightly shorter then the rest of her hair. They don't really bother me, but they do flare out a bit if you don't have them  in the right position so if that bothers you you could just wash it out.

I haven't decided how I feel about the length of her hair. It's the perfect length on a human, but this is a doll and their hair usually reaches down to like, their butts. This is a nice change of pace, but if you wanted it to be in a ponytail or something I think it'd be hard to style.

This is her face; I don't think very many people have realized just how different it is from other Blooms'.

There are two main Bloom faces Jakks uses. The deluxe, and the budget. You can see comparisons between the two on the Comparing Jakks Pacific Faces post I did a while ago.

This is different from the both of them. It has the lips of the Believix one-- the "fish lip" shape, that you usually see on Ariel dolls and some of the Bratz from when they rebooted the franchise. It seems to be around the color of the Believix one too.

But don't get me wrong, this isn't the Believix one. The eyes look a lot smoother, and you know how Deluxe faces have lots of eyelashes and Budget just two? This only has two as well. Her eyelids seem bigger to me too, and they dont have nearly as much makeup. It's like a toned down Believix face. I love it. It's definitely my favorite of their Bloom faces so far. If only it was used more.

The less posable body sure does make for good poses, right? Not. While I don't usually care about much posability on dolls, this is the most interesting pose I could come up with. Her legs would be further apart but the dress is restricting them.

At least she can move her arms out. Can Ken do that yet? I'm not keeping up on Ken. Last time I bought one somewhere in the mid 2000s he still couldn't move his arms out from his sides.

I guess it's not really bad since it's not like the Deluxe posable bodies could do much either, but I miss the knee articulation.

Her legs are also super prone to doing this. That's natural, right? It looks like she has to pee, but not even because she can't move her upper legs together.

I tried pulling them apart and holding them in a normal position for a while and they got a bit better. They came even more twisty then how they look in the top picture. For anyone that's really bothered by this I suggest getting a clip that you use on like, potato chip bags and stuff? Do you know what I mean? They're like clothespins but bigger, bulkier, and plastic. Anyway. Pry her legs out of the weird twisty position, get them how you want them, then clip them together so it holds them that way. Then take it off in a few days or so and it should be significantly better, though probably not completely.

Overall I'd rate this doll around a 6.8/10. I really like her.. but I think that may just be my personal preference. The outfit is nice but inaccurate, and the legs have this weird twisty problem. Not to mention the lack or articulation.

What do you think of this doll?

The Stella Design Studio has showed up on eBay... and I don't understand how it works

So that thing has hit... and I really, really don't get it...

http://www.ebay.com/itm/NEW-Jakks-2013-Nickelodeon-WINX-CLUB-Playset-STELLAS-DESIGN-STUDIO-w-Doll-/400387927862?_trksid=p5197.m1992&

credit to eBay user picker_joes for images, will remove if asked

Alright. So "Includes Stickers to Customize Clothes!" Are we sticking stickers on clothing? Is that all? It looks like we also get a table, a Stella, and a machine. Maybe more, this is hard to tell. Let's check out the back.

On the back, Stella is wearing a different orange outfit and a different blue top... and wait, what's that down there? DISCO dolls?

...what? It says "Create more custom designs with Studio Fashions!"

Is that going to be some other design playset we're getting that has to do with the Disco dolls? Because that seems to be the only thing relating to them... why are they on here, how do I get them?! Do I have to make those outfits?! I know I can't make those outfits with "Become a fashion designer like Stella, make sewing sounds, and display your creations!", right?! It says "Other dolls sold separately", but... where what are they

Oh look, contents:

1 Sewing Table, 1 Winx Doll, 1 Skirt, 1 T-shirt, 1 Tube Top, 1 Pair of shoes, 1 sewing machine, 4 dress forms, 4 hangars, 2 sticker sheets, 4 fairy stickers, 1 backdrop (on packaging).

Okay so we know what the sewing table is. The Winx doll is Stella, and the tshirt and skirt is what she's wearing. Looks like we also must get that blue tube top. One pair of shoes is also what she's wearing. We see the sewing machine. What are dress forms???

Those hangars look like they're made of cardboard. Two sticker sheets, four fairy stickers (what is the difference are only the four good enough for fairies) and we see the backdrop that I can't believe they're counting as including.

Unless dress forms is code for 3 disco outfits, I do not understand. Nor do I understand what to do with this playset.

Anyway. The point of this post was mainly to show you guys Disco down there.. and maybe to figure out what this thing does. This wasn't the post I'd been planning, so check back for that in a few days.

Please comment if you think you understand this better than me!

Review: Jakks Pacific, Stella Harmonix Doll

Dropped by ToysRUs this morning, no City Style. If they had them I would've gotten Aisha, but no luck. I'll check back next week.

As some of you read I did go there last week though and snagged both City Style and Harmonix Stella. I did a review of City Style last week, but now it's time for Harmonix! Let's get started.

As you can see, Sibylla still hasn't found her note book to tear paper out of for the floors of her pictures.
So, this is Stella. She's a pretty nice doll! I think Bloom beats her overall, but she does have some little parts that are better than Bloom. So let's start toe to head.

I thought I took a picture of her shoes, but I guess I didn't. Oh well. Anyway.

So Stella Harmonix's shoes are generally the same as Bloom's; they start off orange, and turn into the same pink color as Bloom's start as. They're really tall, just like Bloom's. My only complaint is they kinda sink down occasionally and end up at around her knees. They don't go any further then that though.

This is her dress! Personally I kinda thought it was a letdown compared to Bloom's. I know they're generally the same but Bloom's had that pink thing across the top and just looked nicer in general. The fabric used on Stella seems really thin too.

I mean, I know there aren't that many details on the top part of her costume anyway but they could've done this thing:

That orange band on her shirt below the frills on her bust.

Anyway. The skirt is cute same as Bloom's, but part of the skirt kept folding up and that got annoying. It's a nice orange color. I wish this doll was a little less citrus, like the show, but I know they were looking at the art instead where she pretty much is this citrus.

This outfit looks horribly uncomfortable. But hey, they're cartoons. It doesn't matter. She also has the exact same belt as Bloom and everyone else in the line. Exciting.

These are her wings. They're probably my favorite of the line, I absolutely adore the color sparkles they used for them. It looks like pink bubblegum. I'm not sure if you can see it or not but there are tons of different colors in her wings; yellow, orange, purple, pink, blue.

They're really pretty.

This is the back of everything! As you can see I redid her hair. It came with a nice pretty bump and down but you know, I took it down and tied it up in a ponytail so it looked like the show.

Her train is the same beautiful material as Bloom's, but it's a nice yellow. The same color as the show. I don't really see any problems with it, no tears or anything, that's nice.

It's a miracle her wings haven't fallen apart once yet. Most my dolls will have like, one wing that always falls off.

Her face is super gorgeous! It's really different from the Believix face, which I'm grateful about. I disliked the Believix face a whole lot. It wasn't very Stella at all. This one has pink pearly lipstick and light pink and yellow eyeshadow. Funny thing is on my doll, on one eye the lower eyeshadow is pink and the upper yellow, and on the other it's vice versa. I wonder which way it's supposed to be?

I really like the hair on this doll. I've sseen the bangs done differently on a lot of the ones in stores, like I mean, some more in her face and all that, but I like the way mine is the best personally.

She also has these two really long pieces in front that are like the longest things I've ever seen and they hang down to her knees. I haven't even decided how I feel about them. I don't even know if she has them in the show or not. They're cute, but they're weird.

This is her crown! It's well.. a crown. I wish the shape of it was more like the show but that's fine. It has a starfish on one side and the rest is just orange and sparkly. I like it. It's tied to her head with little light orange strings on each side as seen in the photo.

Overall I'd rate this doll about an 8/10. Not as fab as Bloom, but not bad.

Sorry if this review wasn't very interesting, I'm kinda tired. My next post will be "What happened, Winx Club? Part 2" and after that.. I haven't decided. Be sure to check back though! Season 5 is resuming this month so episode reviews will be making a comeback as well. ;)
