Review: Jakks Pacific: City Style Stella Doll

So I went to ToysRUs earlier this week hoping to get Harmonix Stella and Aisha... and they had the weirdest stock ever. Three Harmonix Blooms, one Harmonix Stella, and that's it for Harmonix. Then they had one City Style Stella tucked in between a bunch of Everyday dolls, and no other Season 5 dolls.

I guess someone got there before me and bought the rest, even though I went the day after they restocked. :P Oh well. I'm hoping to go back next week and get City Style Aisha if they get another shipment. Anyway, while I was there I bought both the Stellas. Expect a review of Harmonix sometime soon.

The floors of Sibylla's photos have gotten uh. Interesting. I can't find the notebook I usually tear white paper out of for the floor.
So here she is! Personally I think she's a REALLY cute doll; probably my favorite Jakks Stella to date. I haven't really loved many of the past Stellas but this one really gets me. So let's get started.

Look at all those little bows.
I've seen others complain that the shoes aren't show accurate but they look about right to me. I guess you could complain that they aren't painted but really Jakks doesn't paint any of it's shoes so why expect that now?

They're a nice color too. They match her dress nicely.

Do you see that one curl? Yeah, well it kills me.
So this is her dress. I think they executed it pretty well! The top part is glittery as you can tell, and it's about the same color of her boots; maybe a bit darker.

The ruffle part is really nice. It's not hemmed but it isn't fraying at all and as long as you don't roughly play with your dolls it should stay that way.

It's kept on by those two ribbons and velcro in the back. There's no plastic straps or anything, but it seems to hold up anyway.

She also has a single orange bracelet. For a second there I thought to check if it was a watch, like on Everyday Tecna, but then I remembered it's Stella. They would never give her a watch.

And this is the back!
The back is pretty much the same as the front. No one-sided prints, thankfully! As you can see that's how the two ribbons end.

Her earrings are a new mold. They're four little stars; a big one at the hole, then three little ones coming off it. She also has a big bow on her head which I wish was thicker-- it's oddly thin. Like she tied the bow with string, not ribbon. It's pretty cute though.

This is her hairstyle! It really surprised me... I didn't think it was in a ponytail, I thought it was just flat down. I'm tempted to take it down, but I think I'll leave it for the moment.

It's actually not that bad quality. I mean, it's nothing compared to Monster High hair, but we can't compare everything to that; that's not the standard. It's soft and lightly curled. Doesn't seem like it'd get messed up easily. It's a nice color.

Can you tell she's smirking?!
She also has these two big curls in the front, I really like the tightly curled one-- but jeez the other one is getting on my nerves. It's like they forgot to hairspray it. It has a bunch of loose hairs and it's just kinda floating around. It gets messed up easily.

The other one is fabulous though!

Her makeup is really cute; competing with Harmonix for my favorite makeup on a Stella doll. Her lips are a bright, scarlet red and her upper eyemakeup is similar to Everyday's, but more saturated and darker. I much prefer this face to Everyday.

Funny thing is I got one with a face misprint. Her moth got printed wrong on the doll so uh. It looks like she's smirking. Which is like the best thing ever, because who doesn't want a smirky Stella?? You can't really see it that well in my pics, but it's there. The only character it'd be even better in is Musa.

Overall I'd rate this doll about a 9/10. I like this line better then Harmonix, and it's great quality. The dolls are much better now. I definitely recommend her! :)

Also, I bought a PSP 1000 yesterday with my sister, and when I try to play the Winx game on it it sounds like it's dry heaving and takes forever to load. What's wrong with it? I don't know if it's the game or the system, anyone have an idea?

Thanks for reading, and be sure to check back again!

Review: Jakks Pacific, Bloom and Sky Two Pack

Did you all have a good Christmas? I got this for Christmas! I think my sister thought it was awful how long I kept putting off buying it considering Sky is such an important character so she decided to have me get it for Christmas. :P It's a really cute pack! Let's get started on the review.

Look at the lovely couple! Except. uh. Season 5. Ignore that.
So as a pair of dolls they look pretty cute together-- my only complaint is that they're the same height, if not then Bloom is a bit taller. Which looks kinda odd when her head is so much rounder and cartoonier.

We'll start with Sky.

The boyfriend.
And 'the boyfriend's is pretty much what his character has been degraded to. Anyway. My personal gripes aside.

Sky is kinda.. and odd doll, to say the least. His head mold is weirdly shaped and his haircut's a little funny. He looks like that boy from Dog With a Blog.

Anyway, started toe to head-- his boots are the weirdest thing I have ever seen on a male doll in my life. The texture on them is supposed to be like snakeskin.

..snakeskin. Snakeskin Specialist boots? HOW is that useful? It's frighteningly ugly too. Oh well. At least they serve the purpose of boots, right?

His outfit is very, very average. The front of it's pretty nice I guess. It looks like it would be death to get it on and off.

Well. That's attractive.
The entire back of his suit is this solid navy blue. I feel like it must've been different in the show, because this is pathetic.

His cape is debatebly more pathetic. It hangs down loosely, and I really, really want to know what that awkward hole at the top is for. Is it so it can go over his head? If so, why? Does he want to wear it as like... half of a poncho? What?

His sword is... odd. I don't really get it. It has all this royal detailing, so maybe it's supposed to be the Domino sword? But if so that's pretty sad considering it's shaped just like his normal sword-- just with royal detailing all over the handle.

Doesn't he look like the guy from Dog With a Blog!?
He does, doesn't he?!

Anyway. His hair would be fine if they had made it longer and didn't cut it upwards with layering... because this isn't his haircut. This is like the supposed "hot guy" version of his haircut. Oh well. At least it's better then his Season 5 haircut.

His face is okay. It's not that bad or that good. It looks a little weird next to Bloom but it works. Let's move on to Bloom.

Sssoopppphhiiixx!
I really, really want to know what they were thinking with colors when they made this doll. She's super cute, but man look at this:

These colors are not the same. There is something different going on here.

But I guess it's close enough-- they just turned all the rich colors into pastel colors and slapped sparkles on them.

Starting head to toe; she has the Enchantix shoes just like the Enchantix dolls. They're like a cross between Flora's and Bloom's, they're a nice sea green color.

I LOVE the way they pulled her skirt-- I'm sure there's a better word for how they did it but that's all I can think of. It looks absolutely grogeous with all the folds.

My only complaint with her skirt are these two green weird things sticking off the sides, which comparing to this picture above, looks like they mistook her sleeves FOR??

How does that happen?!

Well, it also has this pink fabric ribbon detailing across the top that looks nice.

Her shirt is pretty much her skirt. In shirt form. I like the cut of it.

Her sleeves are pretty nice-- I love how they did those poofy parts of the sleeves, but not too big on the green parts. I wish they had made them a richer color, it works though.

Her hair is surprisingly NOT deathly awful, which infinitely confuses me, because I don't remember how my Believix came, but my Enchantix came a frizzy rats nest. This does not. This come messily curled, but soft and cute.

My gut tells me that if you brushed it you would have the hair monster though, so don't take any chances.

I like her wings. They're just Believix with green and blue instead, and those colors look nice on Bloom-- they should kick pink out of her color scheme. That does not look good.

Her face is generally the same as the normal Believix Enchantix one, but I swear her lipstick is at LEAST two shades more purple. I would've noticed if Believix was this purple. These are really purple, my pictures don't do it justice.

And it's a good thing. It looks super cute. Bloom should wear purple makeup way more often.

As a whole I'd rate this pack around a 7.5/10; it's nice, but it doesn't make much sense. Separately I'd rate Sky about a 7 or so out of 10, he suffices as a Sky. I guess. And Bloom probably about a 7.8/10.

Also. They can't kiss very well. It looks like they might be able to, but really in this picture what it looked like was happening to me as I was taking it, was Sky was shoving his lips up against the side of Bloom's upper lip as he leaned in to whisper something in her ear.

Thanks for reading, and expect more doll reviews soon! I got two more Winx dolls for Christmas (that are Jakks, I got one Mattel, but thats useless in reviewing since theyre obsolete) so expect a couple more reviews. :)

Comparing Jakks Pacific Faces

I went through my dolls lastnight, and decided that since they all have such different faces, I'd take comparison pics for you guys! So here you go. Same bad quality as usual though, sorry.

So we're gonna start with Bloom.

Charmix vs Enchantix
I'm using Enchantix instead of Believix since their faces are identical.

So Charmix Bloom actually has a really, really weird face. I mean it's cute, but it's unlike all the other Bloom faces I own. You'll see what I mean when I go on in this post; it's not the normal budget face.

So differences between the two are pretty obvious-- Enchantix has the "fish lips" like Ariel dolls and some of the older-newer Bratz did. Charmix Bloom has more realistic lips but the top lip is unusually small.

The eyes have glitter eyeshadow on Enchantix and they're generally bigger and more lively. They have more eyelashes too.

Concert vs Charmix
And this is what I mean.

As you can see the eyes are shaped completely differently. Concert's are about ten times more upturned and they're bigger, more lively, while Charmix looks more sleepy almost. The lips on Charmix are slightly smaller then Concert and she has more makeup. They both have two eyelashes on each eye.

Charmix's makeup is also much more purple then any other Bloom I own.

Everyday vs Concert
Remember how I mentioned how surprisingly different the makeup is on these two in my last post? Yeah, well now you can see it.

Concert's upper lip is much bigger then Everyday's and I think it looks better. She also has much less drastic eye makeup, it's barely noticeable.

I also noticed the skin on Concert's was more Stella's color while Everyday's was more the normal Bloom color.

Which of the Bloom faces is your favorite? I think mine is Enchantix.

Believix vs Everyday
I don't own Concert so I can't count her in here-- and Enchantix has the same makeup as Believix, while Charmix has the same as Everyday.

Believix has the lower layer of her eyemakeup a nice yellow and the upper layer a muted pink. Both dolls' lips are the same red.

Believix's eyes are noticeably wider and bigger then Everyday's. She also has more eyelashes. The eyebrows are also shaped differently-- they're slightly longer and getting more into the face on Believix, while on Everyday they're almost more pushed off to the side.

I prefer Everyday's face-- Believix's looks odd to me somehow.

Enchantix vs Everyday
Flora's faces actually interest me a whole lot. They vary between dolls a lot.

Obviously Enchantix's eyes are wider and bigger then Everyday's-- and her makeup is really purple, while on Everyday it's more of a pink. On Charmix it's the same purple-y tone though, but with slightly larger eyes of Everyday's and the rest the same. Sorry I didn't take a picture of that.

The lips are shaped pretty similarly. They both have the fish lips thing I mentioned earlier with Bloom.

Believix vs Enchantix
This is actually what I think is the most interesting face comparison of the entire brand.

When I was out buying Believix, one of the dolls had the face I bought and the other had the face on the right, the Enchantix face.

At the time I thought it was just a fluke, and that the other one was simply a misprint. Little did I know, that mine might be the misprint!

The first few boxes of Believix that I ever saw at ToysRUs all had Floras that looked like mine, but after the time I had seen the second face, all boxes came with the second face. Now Harmonix Floras are coming with that face as well-- it's the new standard, it looks like.

The original has a much softer look for her, her eyes are bigger, and the white of her eyes aren't as bright. It's mainly in the eyes that they differ, the rest is generally the same, apart from the fact that the new one's skin seems a bit more orange, but I think that's just a fluke with my Enchantix one.

Personally I much prefer the original face that they replaced. I wish they had kept it. If you have Believix, which face does yours have?

Believix vs Concert
I didn't include Everyday because it and Concert have the same face.

I really like both these faces on Musa. Believix has extremely light makeup overall, eyes lips and everything-- it's a metallic super light pastel pinkish purple color all over. Her eye makeup is slightly more purple then her lips though.

Concert has significantly smaller eyes. Believix's are a lot taller too, and less wide. Believix's lips are a bit bigger and so are her eyelids.

Same thing with having more eyelashes, and the eyebrow thing with Stella.

I prefer Concert.

Everyday vs Believix

Tecna's faces are actually surprisingly pretty different.

The eyes on Everyday and Believix are shaped differently-- while Everyday goes up at the ends, Believix doesn't.

Believix has much less makeup, which is odd since it's usually the other way around. She also has much more purple-y lips, and her lips are slightly bigger and rounder.

Their eyes are the same color, but they have the same Stella eyebrow thing going on. Everyday's eyes are much more perky and Believix's are more round and sleepy.

I prefer Everyday.

Everyday vs Believix
Aisha's faces are really a hit and miss a lot of the time.

Believix's eyes are wider, which is a surprise considering usually with the exception of Stella the budget lines' eyes are wider then the Deluxe. The shape of Believix's eyes is pretty different, the ends go down more then Everyday's, The eyelids are bigger and more noticeable too, and the eyebrows are a darker color.

Her makeup is a lot brighter. Her lips are a nice purple-y color I really like and her eyeshadow is like a lot lighter and slightly pinker version of it. Everyday has more of a classic pink which I don't think looks very good on her.

Everyday's makeup is extremely faint-- you can barely see it on the eyes. I think this face would be a lot better if it wasn't for those two big locks of hair being pulled back away from it. Looking at City Style they did improve it a lot though.

I prefer the Believix one.

How about you guys? What face is your favorite for each girl?

Thanks for reading, and Merry Christmas!

Review: Jakks Pacific: Concert Bloom Doll

You know, considering this is one of the easiest to find dolls of the entire brand, it's a little sad I just now bought her and am doing a review on her. But you see, I didn't like her enough to pay whole price... and she went down to $5 on Amazon! So who could resist.

So this doll is pretty cute. Much better quality then the Everyday line, surprisingly-- I kinda wish it was the other way around, since I think their Everyday wear is a bit more important then their band attire.

Anyway. Let's get started-- the usual toe to head.

Super cute shoes, and an anklet!

So I really like her shoes. They're like Everyday Flora's, but in a dark royal blue. The stock picture makes them look more like a blackish blue, but really they're not that dark.

She also has this anklet which looks like it's supposed to be beads, with bigger beads hanging down from it? It's a nice added detail.

This is her entire outfit. Her tights are made out of a nice material. They're a good hot pink and don't look bad at all, even though I don't really like pink on Bloom.

Her skirt is basically identical to Musa's but in blue instead of pink. She also has the same belt as Musa, so nothing special there.

Her shirt is cute-- the colors work well and I like the material. It's super soft. You can wiggle around the little sleeve things, but the rest of it is attached to the dark blue part. If you wanted you could shove the sleeves up onto her shoulders, but I think they look infinitely better down low.

Her tie is cute, it's a simple pink. A bit less saturated and lighter then her tights. It's the same as Believix Musa's tie but you know, Musa's is a dark blue instead.

She also has a matching bracelet that goes with her anklet!

Note: Her hair didn't come in a ponytail, I put it in there.

Her face is kinda odd. It has much better lips then Everyday; Everyday's lips were odd, the top one was extremely small and the bottom one too large. These are more balanced though, and her lipstick appears to be slightly lighter? But it might just be the lighting in my room.

She has much less makeup then Everday, which is surprising. You'd expect her to wear more makeup for a concert, not less. Anyway; where you can faintly see pink eyeshadow on this one, there's lots on Everyday.

Her eyes are shaped differently as well. The bottoms of hers are more slanted upwards, while Everyday's are more straight.

This is her outfit from the back. As you can see, no ruffles on the skirt-- it's a shame.

That's prettyy much all I have to say about this doll. I'd rate her about an 8/10, going off my scale for all the first wave dolls. She's really cute, but not anything extremely special. That might partly just be the fact I don't particularly see anything really special in the Concert line in general.

Thanks for reading, and be sure to check back for more new posts! And in case I don't post again before Christmas-- I plan to, but who knows-- Merry Christmas, for those who celebrate it!

Review: Enchantix, as a Transformation

"And I feel so beautiful and strong!
I raise my energy,
Finally I become a real fairy!
A butterfly...
Shining so bright!"

Last time I did one of these was with Believix! And that happened what, a month ago? Looks like I'm going in backwards order, saving for Harmonix and Sirenix.

So Enchantix was the transformation of Season 3-- the supposed final fairy form. Er, not. What I like to believe though is it's like a tree, magic winx/Charmix being the roots, Enchantix being the trunk, and Sirenix, Harmonix, Believix, etc etc, are branches. If that makes sense? Anyway. Enchantix was one of my favorite transformations, next to Charmix/Magic Winx.

The Designs

If it isn't obvious I'm going in the same order as I was with Believix. Anyway.

I love the Enchantix designs. They're the best, imo. Each girl looks like herself, each girl looks gorgeous, elegant, and fairy-like... something I thought Believix was lacking on. It just didn't look like "fairy" clothing. It looked like sparkle splattered little-girl clothing.

But Enchantix... it's different! I honestly have no complaints with these designs really, other then the fact that Layla's kept changing color. First it was green, then it was blue... personally I prefer it green. I think she looks a lot better in green then she does blue.

I think Flora's is my favorite out of the bunch. Really I'm not much of a Flora fan-- and out of the early Seasons, she was probably my least favorite. But the design they gave her was absolutely stunning, with how flowy and natural it looked.

Layla's probably my least favorite. I like it, but it changed colors constantly and didn't reflect her as well as the others did for the other girls. I also thought there was something missing. I still don't know what, but. Maybe something on her legs? Like some shorts under her skirt like on Tecna's? I don't know. Her wings are my favorite out of the Enchantix ones though-- those are gorgeous. Somehow Layla always gets the best wings... the only transformation I can't say that applies to is Sirenix, because they have the same wings just in different colors.

The Powers

With Enchantix came a few new powers-- but nothing going overboard, like on Believix.

So we got the fairy dust. Which for some odd reason, I really, really, really want to call pixie dust. It basically could be used for curing and lifting any dark spell-- specifically Valtor's. This is useful. I don't know why they didn't keep it into later seasons.
I think such a large power is totally fitting for how the girls earn Enchantix. I don't think that gets enough appreciation-- if it weren't for Enchantix being a thing in the Winx world, they would've died. They'd be dead right now because they gave themselves up for another. I don't think many people really get what a big deal that is.

Anyway. I kinda strayed off topic there. With Enchantix, we also got stronger, bigger wings. You could fly in big harsh wind currents, that kind of thing.

Not to mention overall stronger powers in general. It's not like some of our later transformations where the Winx somehow end up weaker then they were in Magic Winx/Charmix.

The Transformations

Enchantix had gorgeous transformation sequences! I think Musa's was definitely my favorite.

Bloom's, with the big dragon flying by, the black silhouette... I think it's Bloom's best transformation sequence overall, out of all of hers. It was super nice.

Stella's was also uh. Stellar. (are you guys staring at the screen now, thinking, "Sibylla what r u doing.") I loved how when she kinda twirled around she had her new hairstyle and everything, and they picked pretty much the best angles possible to do her gloves and stuff at. I also loved that kiss thing at the end. I totally wanted to make it my icon but then I realized it looked kinda ugly as a screenshot.

Flora's actual ending result was gorgeous, but I think the transformation wasn't actually all that special. I did really like how she came out of the flower and everything, but the rest wasn't really very special to me.

Musa... Musa's my favorite! I said that, right? I love her spinning, the black silhouette, the music note rope-- all amazing. The only part I didn't care for was the random light blue backgrounded part with the ribbon. That didn't fit in-- pick a color background. Can't have both.

Tecna's was super cute! I liked how they had the grid changing her appearance, the kinda 'loading' on her clothing. Super cool concept, and was executed great as well.

Layla's I didn't really like. They didn't try very hard to involve her actual personality or powers into it-- it was just "glowy white light, adds on the clothing" and that was it. It was also oddly shorter then the rest of them, which bothered me.

The music for Enchantix was pretty nice-- though I'm more into the 4kids music, but that's just because I grew up with it. The actual song used in the other dubs was really cool, but I thought it was trying a bit too hard. I completely see why people prefer it, though.

Overall I'd rate this transformation about a 9.5/10. I completely love it, barely any complaints.

Thanks for reading! What do you think of Enchantix?

Review: Jakks Pacific: Harmonix Bloom Doll

Yep, I got her! She's SUPER cute. And I took lots of pictures, which I never do. They're still just as sucky quality, but still. Pictures, since I haven't seen anyone take any yet.

So the Harmonix line is super cute. I went to ToysRUs this morning (I waited all weekend for their stock day!) and they had all four of the line! I was one of the first customers of the day, haha.

From what I could tell in box, Bloom was my favorite, there was something odd about Stella-- I think her outfit was too much of the same color. She was my second favorite though. Flora was really cute but didn't strike me as anything special, but that might just be because I'm not a very big Flora fan. Aisha was super cute too but not as fab as Bloom or Stella.

But of course, as you can tell, I chose Bloom. Mainly because I consistently buy her first out of every line I get. I probably won't be getting another Harmonix doll until January since I spent all my money (and a little bit of my parents'-- I'm in debt now.) on Christmas presents, and won't have more until then. But I'm happy with Bloom! Anyway, let's get started with the review.

HAAAARRMOOOONIIIXXX
This is my bby Bloom. She is the cutest little Winx dolly I own up to date, I've decided. I adore this line. Just. Everything. She's overall super fab and she'll stand on a Monster High stand.

Now! Starting toe to head!
So her shoes are basically much bigger versions of the Enchantix/Sophix shoes. They're heels just like most all their shoes and they go pretty high up off the ground, it looks sweet. I really love it.

Her train is made out of this amazing material which I think I've had a dress made out of in the past?? It looks nothing like the cheap material used in the stock pictures, it's REALLY nice and soft and gorgeous and shimmery. Her train also obviously goes a bit below her feet, so right now she's standing on it to save me some trouble of rearranging this doll for every single photo I take.

There's really nothing else that comes before her train/shoes and dress, so already onto it.
So her skirt is like Believix Stella's almost? But ten times BETTER. The actual fabric underneath is blue unlike Stella's where it's just white when it should be pink, and there are several layers of this gorgeous stiff tulle that I'm sure has a name but I can't remember it.

She has this pink belt which looks like Morphix, and it has little hearts and stars on it. I wonder if there are different versions of it? I know every girl has it, but hearts and stars only make sense for Bloom and Stella.

"Fire Blade!"
Her shirt is one of my favorite parts of the doll. The light blue main part of it is kinda stiff, but it has these cute sparkles on it. The pink part is pretty much like Believix Musa's pants, the only disappointing part about it is that it's a half-print, meaning it's only like this on the front. On the back it's all the light blue.

She also has that ruffle cerulean blue part, which is the light blue with a ruffle sewn on. It looks super cute, but is also a half-print.

I wouldn't say this is the most accurate-- the colors have been switched around from the show. Pretty much everything white has been turned cerulean blue.

Look, her wings look like stained glass!
The caption pretty much says it all. Put her in front of a window on a table or something and you'll see just how perfectly Jakks does wings. This is amazing. All the colors, tints, sparkles... it's genius design.

"Rapunzel, Rapunzel, let down your hair!"
Oh Harmonix. This is the longest hair on a doll that wasn't made as either Rapunzel, or to be based off Rapunzel's long hair I have ever seen in my life. It actually looks a bit better in pictures than it does in person. In person the last couple inches are ratty, so don't brush it.

In case you didn't hear me the first time. Don't brush it. And don't ignore what I'm saying. Brushing it will most likely create the Rapunzel-esque version of Believix Bloom's hair and YOU SHOULD REMEMBER THAT AWFUL EXPERIENCE.

I imagine cutting off the last couple inches would make it look better though, oo I might try that. I really wanna see someone straighten it... it would be WAY long. It's already down to about halfway between her knees and ankles-- it'd get probably past her feet with straightening. I don't have the guts though since all I know how to do is boiling water and I'm not sure how well that would work.

Princess Bloom, to the rescue!
She has THE cutest little crown. Not much else to say about it other then that it's adorbs, and it's shaped perfectly. It has a little seashell on the front and it's this gel looking pearly blue.

I tried comparing the makeup on it and Believix/Enchantix, but obviously the pictures didn't come out very well. Basically Harmonix's makeup IS different-- it's a lot more shimmery and more pink, and her eye makeup has a tinge of purple that original Bloom's completely pink eye makeup didn't have at all. Harmonix is on the left and Believix/Enchantix on the right, if it wasn't obvious.

Bloom Magical Membership Card #2!
This is her Magical Membership card. It doesn't "transform" like the other one, and it seems to be a lot lower quality. I wonder if the Sirenix ones will transform or not? Anyway, on this one it feels like it's made out of cardboard. Glossy cardboard.

It's fine though, since I honestly don't think the Magical Membership cards were anyone's favorite part of the dolls anyway.

"What do you need, Princess Bloom?"
Her brush doubles as a Sirenix box. I wish they had painted theirs like Simba did, but honestly it doesn't really matter since Jakks beat Simba's Harmonix dolls on a million other levels instead.

On the inside is a molded Sirenix guardian. You can't really see it in my pictures, but the head and torso is on the top part of the star and the tail is on the bottom part. Very cute. It opens and closes, and the bottom side of it is a brush.

"We need help managing our long, ratty hair!"
And look, she can even hold it! Just like in the show where she's talking to it. It's a little large-- it's the same size as her head. That thing would be a pain to hold if it was really that big.

Overall? In comparison to the old dolls, I'd rate her a 10/10-- but in comparison to normal dolls, I'd give her about a 9/10. Super cute! The only complaints I have are the color changes they pulled on a couple parts of the outfit, but it's really nothing. I love this doll, and I'd definitely recommend it to anyone wanting to buy some new Winx Club dolls. I'd say the only major factor that I could see stopping some people from buying it is the hair, but if you really like the rest of her straightening shouldn't be that hard.

Thanks for reading! What do you think of this doll? Leave you opinion in the comments!

Also. Any advice on some new stuff I could post? With episode reviews not being an option anymore (unless people want me to do reviews of old episodes) I'm down to news and doll reviews. I definitely need another thing I can post all the time. Any suggestions?

PS: My heart goes out to all the families involved in the Connecticut shooting this morning. It's absolutely awful that this happened.

MagixJourney Posts New Jakks Pacific Beach and Sleepover Dolls

Check it out!! Not sure whether or not I can post the images here, so just in case I put a link instead.

Okay. I wish the Sleepover line had more then just Bloom, because I think it's adorable. I haven't decided whether or not I want to pick it up though-- I think I will, but I'm not quite sure. I wonder how much it'll be? I think I'll buy it if it's like $25 or less but any more I won't.

The Beach line is super adorable!! I know it's not of any swimsuits we've seen in the show, but I love these swimsuits, they're actually realistic. Like I could actually see myself wearing that. And I couldn't see myself wearing the swimsuits they wore in the show.

Definitely going to pick those up, haven't decided whether or not Flora, but for sure Stella and Bloom. I didn't buy the first line that looked like that and I like these outfits WAY better, so this is a plus. I just hope they're easier to find then the first ones, I still haven't seen them in a store.

Review: Season 5, Episode 10: Magix Christmas

So this week we got the Christmas episode! It's about time. My reviews a day late, but I mean, who's even keeping track right now.

Also also! I added a poll to the side of the blog, be sure to vote and check it out. Funny enough it looks like News is in the lead. Kinda odd since it's kinda once in a blue moon I post news. Oh well, maybe I'll try doing it more often.

But back to the review!

So we start off with Bloom wrapping presents and wearing the cutest Christmas outfit I have ever seen. Like, they didn't overdo it and make it a Santa dress, it's actually realistic and adorable aww I want a doll of it!!

So anyway the other girls walk in and are like, "Oh yeah, what's Christmas again?" which makes a lot of sense because my guess Bloom just told them in passing one day, since I am positive the Christian religion is not a thing in Magix.

So Bloom tries explaining and they're just like, "Ooh presents here take a present Musa, Tecna, Flora." But then Bloom explains it's not about the presents and they're just like, "Aww, dang it."

I want to make this my icon, purely for giggles.
Then Stella has this moment where I want to just want to leave the room. What happened to my old, bratty Stella. this is just stereotypical prissy girl Stella get out.

So we head outside since Bloom is leaving to spend Christmas with her parents and the specialists arrive, and SKY SAID SOMETHING BUT I DONT REMEMBER WHAT, BUT IT WAS THE MOST PAINFUL SOUNDING THING I HAD EVER HEARD (and then he literally said nothing else the entire episode)

But anyway the Trix who I guess are really just as stupid as rocks this season overhear them talking about Christmas magic and think that the Winx are going to gain a new power. So they come to Alfea and freeze it over using these giant ice dragons that look like they just came out of Rune Factory.

Bloom gets sad since she can't go to her parents house now and celebrate Christmas so she just kinda sulkily goes back to her room. The Trix meanwhile are invisible hanging out inside Alfea and are trying to get Bloom alone, but when they're about to Faragonda comes and sees her and tells her that there are dark beings somewhere in the school. (no, really?)

The rest of the Winx Club experience cultural differences as they attempt to study Christmas so they can throw the best Christmas party ever for Bloom. They create the largest gingerbread house I have ever seen that it looks like you could walk in, the droopiest, largest leafless tree I have ever seen (even though FLORA was in charge of that), a literal Christmas cheer with Tecna, Aisha, and Musa, and Stella walking around saying "Ho ho ho ho." In the saddest beard ever and a big red coat.

Bloom basically looks so sad when she sees it but basically accepts it and is like "aww thanks guys I love it!"

Then the Trix get angry that Bloom is still enjoying Christmas and they turn visible and start attacking them. Then it ends as you'd expect-- the Winx beat the Trix, the Trix run off.

Then Faragonda comes up and says that since Bloom can't go to her parents' house anymore she can bring her parents and the neighborhood children over to Alfea. I don't know why she couldn't go to her parents house, but apparently she couldn't.

Then we pretend to be Peter Pan and fly the children around in our Santa hats. And basically that's the end of the episode.

I kinda wrote a snarky review but I really did like this episode, it was super cute. It's about time we got another holiday episode.

Anyway, thanks for reading!

PS: Who thinks I should edit Santa hats onto my banner? :P
