Review: Jakks Pacific: Concert Musa Doll

I've actually had Concert Musa for a long time but I never realized I hadn't done a review on her. Kinda sad. So here you go, you get one!

Concert Musa is really nice. Quality, prettiness, everything. I adore her. This coming from someone who is debating not buying most the Concert line at all because I didn't like that they made a band in Season 4.

So to start off, we'll go toe-to-head. Because that's the more exciting way.

Her boots. I looove her boots. (they also fit Monster High pretty well, for anyone wondering about that.) They're this nice navy color and they have little buckle detailing. Sure it's not painted, but you get my point. It's still just as fabulous.

Then her tights aren't as neon blue as they are in the stock picture, but that's probably a good thing. They're a nice material and they somehow manage not to ride up or down. It's like, a small dolly miracle. (so keeping that phrase and using it from now on.

Her skirt is super cute and also manages not to ride up or down. Once again, we have a small dolly miracle on our hands. I love the pattern they used for it and the material feels fantastic. The belt isn't that special, since only two different belts were used in the line-- three girls shared one, but it's nice.

Her shirt and jacket are connected, which I've seen a lot of people get REALLY upset over. I honestly don't mind though. It's fine. The shirt is nice and striped, shows off her belly-button and the jacket is more pink than red in person. It's a pretty nice material too but-- uh oh.

Uh oh uh oh. It stains.

Yeah, I discovered that a few days ago. That's actually what motivated me to do the review. There's serious staining on her arms from it. I don't really mind since I plan to keep her in this outfit but I know it could be a big deal for people that like to change outfits. If any of you have her, does yours' have staining?

I had originally uploaded this photo without the big black bar on Musa's torso, but I figured some people might be offended if I did. Even though it's a doll. So here you go, black bar included.

That's what it looks like. It seems to be worst at the shoulder like the picture I took, but it's all over the arms as well. I suggest a long sleeved sweater, Musa baby.

Looking past the staining, the coat is cute. It has two navy strips on it and that looks nice.

She also has a cute little grey necklace. It's not the most fabulous necklace I've ever seen but it does the job, wouldn't you say so?

THE FACE ON THIs DOLL... I love it I love it!! It looks just like Old Musa, from Seasons 1 and 2! That means for anyone wanting to make Charmix customs... this is your girl. <3 She has this cute pink lipstick and the cutest little eyes I have ever seen gah Musa I love you.

Do you see the adorable-ness that is this doll's face? And how bad my cell phone pictures come out?

Her eyes somehow look green in this picture but her eyes look nothing like green in real life. Really they're like this awesome midnight blue. And her lips are a bit darker in person, and more shimmery. I love the shimmery lipstick on this girl.

She also has these cute silver stud earrings on that are totally cute and like the necklace-- while they're not superfab, they do the job.

The hair on this doll is supercute too. Her bangs are perfect in every way-- they're straight, hang down perfectly, all that cute doll bangs stuff you can imagine.

Her pigtails hang down perfectly too. Also have I mentioned I love the color Jakks uses for Musa's hair? It's this gorgeous midnight blue that is totally Musa an totally superfab.

Wow, the lighting in this picture is completely different from the rest! But isn't Musa amazing?

So overall I'd rate this doll about a 6.9 out of 10. I love her, I really do... (as you can tell), but the staining all over her arms really breaks it for me. She's still amazing and I'll still keep loving her forever, but the staining... eh. I could live without it.

Thanks for reading! I plan to include pictures like this in all my doll reviews from now on, so keep an eye out. ;)

Review: Season 5: Episode 13, Sirenix *SPOILERS*

So this episode was pretty interesting. It's about time we got something different then the repetitive 'let's find a jewel' game.

So basically we start off with-- a new theme song! Is it just like a preview for this episode? Because it's not in sync with the music like all previous theme songs have been and it seems to only contain clips from this episode. Oh well-- it's cute, though.

Anyway, after that we see (not in exact order, I don't remember exact order) Daphne being tortured even more. That seems to be a recurring thing. It's getting kinda old. I'm tired of seeing her pain. But she still thinks her mother and father are stuck as ice statues and she finally spills about Sirenix, which is apparently hanging out in Lake Roccaluce (OH MY GOD HOW DO YOU SPELL THAT), or at least the source of Sirenix is.

Meanwhile the Winx girls are hanging out in the simulator trying to connect with the ocean to get Sirenix but Bloom can't connect. Dear Bloom, I love you, but your character is becoming boring at this point and giving you so much screentime in a season with little to no character development is not helping my opinion of it. So basically we leave and go talk to our Sirenix book.

I guess the Winx girls solved all those riddles for nothing because Tritannus proceeds to go down to the lake and suck some Sirenix out. Then he creates an oil monster and starts draining the lake, but the selkies come out of nowhere with this seventh selkie that's for lake Roccaluce and attack him. Together they're stronger, but still not strong enough for this over-powered angsty teenage merboy.

So the Winx girls are trying to figure out where Sirenix is, and the book just says like, 'look inside yourself' and then quite literally disappears into thin air.

After tons of trouble Bloom figures out that it's Lake Roccaluce and goes there. We arrive and see Tritannus wreckage and are like "whoa no tritannus got here." Then we see his oil monster and Musa, Flora, and Tecna agree to fight it while we look for Tritannus and the selkies. (wow, did they seriously just shove those three off like that, the unimportant ones of the season seriously??)

We find them and fight for a few minutes but then Tritannus blasts the selkies off and Stella runs after them. That leaves Bloom and Aisha as the only ones fighting him. Aisha eventually ties him up and Bloom hits him a couple times and so now we have him tied in a merman lump on the ground, but he mentions how the lake is draining and Bloom demands to know where Daphne is but there's no time to question him and save the lake so they end up letting him go to save the lake. (JEEZ BLOOM, WHATS MORE IMPORTANT AT THIS POINT ONE LAKE OR THE INFINITE OCEAN.)

So Tritannus breaks the Morphix holding him back and swims away. Meanwhile the Winx girls have all croweded around the source of Sirenix and are holding hands and Bloom finally is connected with the ocean, so the lake refills (yeah, I honestly don't understand how that works either) and their Sirenix helpers come out (hey it's the first time we get to see Aisha's) and use their magic to make one big Sirenix helper.

At the same time this is happening Tritannus rips Daphne's Sirenix straight out of her body and gives it to the Trix, who then obtain their Sirenix.

So the big Sirenix helper with the Winx opens the portal to the infinite ocean saying they can go in now and they go in and then they transform into Sirenix. Have I mentioned I love Sirenix. I know a lot of people don't but I do.

So we get in the infinite ocean and our hair changes color

our hair changes color

NOT EVEN FOR A REASON
IT JUST DOES
HELP ME
I'M DYING
WHY DID THIS HAPPEN

AND WHY IS STELLA'S SUCH A HIDEOUS GREEN COLOR
WHY DIDN'T WE GET AN EXPLANATION
WHY ARE THEY SUCH UGLY COLORS

now that I've had a moment to process that.

So now we're in the infinite ocean and we kinda look around for a moment until the Queen Sirenix helper tells us that darkness has entered the ocean as well and Bloom has this way too serious for her hair moment where she's like "Tritannus, GRR"

So basically after that Tritannus comes into the ocean and turns a rock into an oily rock. And that's the end of the episode.

EXCEPT, earlier in it they mentioned that each Winx girl gets a wish with their Sirenix... if we use this to solve all our problems like Stella's parents and Musa's mother I will just scream IT CANT BE THAT EASY, I KNOW THINGS ARE EASY THIS SEASON BUT NO

THE ONLY WISHES I WILL ACCEPT ARE AISHA FOR NABU AND BLOOM FOR DAPHNE

NO ONE ELSE

I hope the other wishes get used like in battle like someone gets super injured and so another has to use their wish to save them and so on. Because we cannot just solve all our problems like that no.

Overall I liked this episode but I wanted to scream twice. The next episode preview we're back on Earth and we see 2D Sirenix, which looks surprisingly really cool.

Thanks for reading! Feel free to share your opinions on the episode in the comments.

Fan Activities

Bloom can pick all the right answers! Can you?
Couldn't think of a post for this day... lame, right? Well instead of you get some little cute activities. Anyone who can get all the questions right gets uh... nothing, really. But it's fun to see who can get the most. If you can I'll put your name into the post with a little "[Blank] got all the answers right, congratulations!" Or if no one can then just whoever gets the most. Sure you can use Google to answer these, but does that really make it fun? It kinda ruins it. :(

Review: Believix, as a Transformation

"Believix, you're magical! All you gotta do is believe in yourself... and everything will change!"

Believix. The transformation of Season 4, that also came with a million side-transformations. I realized I've never really shared my opinion on it, so here I am doing so. Sorry I posted it so late in the day-- it took me forever to write.

The Designs

The designs of Believix are cute. I love the wings, the colors are bright and flashy, and I love those glitter line things from the stock art that didn't make it into the show. I like how each one accurately reflects the girl's personality without being too obvious. Like Stella's being girlier then the others, Flora's being super natural, and Musa's being... I don't know, how do you describe it? Almost more modern.

Though I don't like the little-girl feel a lot of them have to them-- Stella and Bloom's particularly look like something little girls would wear just to go out apart from the cuts on the tops. At the time of the Season these girls were what, 19? 20? You'd think their outfits would be a little more mature. ((No, I don't mean mature as in risque and stuff, I mean mature as in what you actually could see people that age wearing.))

My favorite of the designs is either Tecna's or Flora's. Both look fabulous on them and both fit their personalities perfectly. My least favorite is Stella's. It fits but like I mentioned earlier, it looks like something an 8 year old would wear.

The Powers

So Believix's power comes from people believing in magic, fairies, and all of that kind of stuff. Seems useful, right?

Well it is sometimes. Others... not so much. It reminds me of how Musa's music powers used to be. Where the more people singing, the more music playing, the stronger she was. When it was dead quiet she still had powers, but they were depleted tons. It's like that with Believix-- the more people around you, the stronger you can be. But for some reason... the less people around you, the same? That bothered me with Believix. It didn't make sense. Like on Omega where they fought the wizards-- their powers were perfectly strong even though Omega wasn't on Earth, and it doesn't seem like Omega would be a good place to use Earth-based powers.

I did like the ability of showing people the truth though, or whatever you call it-- it was odd, but it was kinda nice. Not sure if it messes with the people's free will though, and if so that's kinda nasty. Especially for using it for little things.

The Transformations

And by this I mean the actual transformation sequences.
I really liked Bloom's. The purple background, the flaming on clothing, and the dark silhouette at the beginning. I'd give it about a 9/10. My only 'eh' thing about it is the color background it ends on.

Stella's was nice too. I liked the white silhouette and pretty much everything about it, but I still prefer Bloom's. I'd give it an 8/10, because some of the poses seemed awkward and forced.

Flora's was okay, but the pink vines were unnatural and rather bulky. Her movements were smooth and nice though so I'd give it an overall 7.5/10 or so.

Musa's... whoa, that one was my favorite! The black silhouette, the dancing, the lights on the dance floor, the twirling, the swimming through the air... everything. Perfect. 10/10.

Tecna's was really nice. I loved the lightning electrical looking stuff, the dark silhouette, the poses, the movements, the rushing background... 10/10.

Aisha's was nice but not my favorite. I loved the water droplet rushing over her thing they had going on but that was about it.  About a 7/10.

Roxy's was really nice. I loved the swimming in the butterflies thing, but I wish there was more actually showing the new outfit getting onto her like in Bloom's. I'd give it an 8/10.

That's about it for what I have to say on Believix. Overall as a transformation I'd rate it about a 7/10. Parts of it were strong but others were weak. Wasn't my favorite.

Note: All images used in this post were pulled off Google, so I don't take any credit for them.

Review: Jakks Pacific: Everyday Tecna Doll

Yes I got her Yes she's mine. <3 <3 <3 It's about time.

So as all of you that have read my last few posts know I wanted this doll so badly. I'd go hunting to like seven stores in a day like nobody's business and still not find her. This doll cost me like three times as much as she is in gas.

But I finally found her. I called up a store and they checked like five different big wrapped boxes in the back and then they found her and now she's mine!! So here's the review. Day 2 of my post all week.

So this Tecna is great in every way. But I am kind of biased so uh. I'll try to give a fair review.

The material on her shirt and skirt are the same as that gross material on Flora's skirt and Charmix Bloom's entire outfit. But it works better on Tecna because the design of this outfit isn't supposed to be practical. It's a nice color, a bit lighter and less saturated then it is in the stock picture. I like those dark whatever you call them that they end with the dark purple. I'm not even going to try going into what to call them who knows. But they're cool and look great anyway. I just wish she had one on the top of her skirt too.

She has the cutest little earrings that are actually a bit bigger then they look in the stock picture. They're like big pearly studs and they're perfect. That bracelet that you see in the stock picture is actually three watches. I don't know who has gel watches, but I'm sure it's a thing. You can take them off if you don't like them anyway.

Her tights are a nice color-- much more purple-y white then in the stock picture. They're much lighter too. My only complaint is that they tend to bunch up unless you tuck them deep into her boots. I don't see why they couldn't have just done full tights that go over her feet but eh, it is a budget doll. And you can keep it from doing that if you tuck it in enough.

Her shoes are probably the last accurate part of the doll... haha. I honestly don't know what they were thinking when they decided hot pink, gel, shin-high strappy heels would be the best choice. They look fine on the doll, but they DO NOT look anything like the show whatsoever.

The hair on this doll is her usual bob, which I hope they change up for Harmonix. It's the nice purple color she usually has, though she doesn't have the streaks she has in Believix, and I wish she did. I actually cut it to be how it is in the show though. :P Looks much cuter now.

The face on this doll is the best part. I LOVE the budget Tecna face even more then the Believix one. It's like the Believix one but 10x better. She has that usual hot pink lipstick the Everyday dolls have, but she has like NO eyeshadow except this really light pink stuff. Her eyes are such a dark blue too it's gorgeous and beautiful. Double eyelashes as well. She has brown eyebrows which is kinda odd but I mean really Tecna's hair is probably a dye job anyway.

Overall I'd rate this doll an 8.7 or so out of 10. I adore her and she's almost perfect... but there are just a few little things that don't work like her shoes.

Tomorrow I'll be doing a review of Believix as a transformation. Not the dolls (I've already done that) but the actual designs/powers and my opinion on them. Be sure to check back then!

Review: Season 5, Episode 12: Domino Ceremony *SPOILERS*

Yeah, I suck at getting things done on time. Don't yell at me. My internet barely worked enough to post the Aisha review last week. I will stick to my post once everyday thing this week-- I'll drag it until Saturday, since I didn't get Monday. Anyway, here's my review. No pictures since for some reason, Nick won't let me watch the second half of the video because it thinks I am not from America. I am, by the way.

So we start off with Musa and Tecna at Alfea basically just sitting around. Why couldn't they come to the Domino Ceremony?? They got designs. I wonder if we'll see them in the show. So the Sirenix book spits out a new riddle.

Meanwhile on Domino Stella needs to add a Stella touch to everything. I liked their dresses better before, aww. They were cute and simple. The cuts on the silk/tulle/whatever that was the transparent stuff were a little weird but apart from that I liked them. So in the kingdom Bloom keeps trying to tell Sky he was 'that guy' who saved Domino (you know, when watching that movie I didn't really think he was the one that saved it, I thought it was more Bloom) so anyway he's getting an award. BUT FOR SOME REASON, SHE WON'T TELL HER PARENTS HE DOESN'T REMEMBER. WHAT IS YOUR LOGIC, BLOOM.

So Sky is just the most desperate little sad orphan raccoon because he remembers nothing. Yet he's being forced to go and get an award anyway. Bloom's parents walk up and talk to them for a little bit but then Bloom gets the call from Musa/Tecna and has to rush off to the Yellow Reef so she grabs her friends and does so. Bloom's parents let her saying Sky can cover for her. Sky. Sky. Sky. GET SKY OUT OF THESE SITUATIONS, HE KEEPS GETTING IN THEM.

So we're at the yellow reef and we find baby waterpixie selkie because you know I'm not even going to say Tritannus took her powers anymore it's known it's common knowledge he takes every selkie's powers. We bond and flower Baby Lee I don't remember her name picks up Sky's pendant at the bottom of the sea. She thinks Flora might know what it is. You know, I like that he's finally gonna get his memory back, but what kind of logic is that, selkie. Oh, a necklace. Flora must know about it. Because Flora knows about all necklaces right.

So we're going around the yellow reef now and all of a sudden giant spikes start popping out of everything (because of pollution apparently?? I wanna know what kind of demon reef this is to have that kind of reaction from pollution) and so we have to get out of there. But only Bloom gets out and so Flora, Stella, and Aisha are still stuck inside. Dang.

So these spikes are just monstrous I mean they keep getting longer when you shoot them and stuff.

Anyway somehow Bloom got them out honestly I don't remember how. I think she purified an oil puddle somewhere that was like causing the reef emotional stress.

So now the Trix are attacking the ceremony because they want Bloom's parents so Daphne has a reason to fess up. They have a good fight except Sky who's still awful at fighting. But then the Trix turn Bloom's parents into ice and show Daphne through some portal vision and then she agrees to tell them if she turns them back to normal.

So now we're with Bloom again and she sees this giant fish monster with the Gem of Courage in it's mouth. No one knows how to get it out of there so Bloom dives into it's mouth and grabs it and we have an, "Oh no, poor Bloom, she's gone! I'm so sad sob sob." moment until Bloom bursts the fish to smithereens from the inside. We now have the last gem and we should get Sirenix now but we don't??

Anyway we come back to the ceremony and kick the Trix's butts before they destroy ice Bloom's parents because I mean who really thought they were going to turn them back. So then the Trix leave.

Flora gives Sky the pendant and he REMEMBERS EVERYTHING ITS ABOUT TIME SKY.

But then he doesn't even do anything with his memory, he's just like YES MY MEMORIES BACK now back to the story.

Anyway they decide they can save Bloom's parents together and they make it out like that'll start another arc but no then they just hold hands and save them with the power of their love.

So I liked this episode it seems like I didn't but I really did. It was quite nice.

The next post you should be expecting is tomorrow... Everyday Tecna review! YES, I got her. Don't doubt my finding skills, who cares if it took me 16 stores. So expect that tomorrow. Thanks for reading!

Review: Jakks Pacific: Everyday Aisha Doll

Today I’m doing a review of Jakks’ Pacific’s Everyday Aisha doll! I bought her a few weeks ago with Charmix Flora and just now doing a review, haha. I was going to post this days ago but my internet decided not to let me, so it’s a few days late. Sorry about that! Anyway, let’s get started!

I got her at ToysRUs for about $15 or so with tax. Might be a couple dollars off, since I don’t keep receipts. It’s nice to see ToysRUs stocking Everyday—I only ever see them at Target.
Okay, so her hair is really cute. The texture isn’t bad at all and I’m like 99% sure that if you brushed it, you would NOT end up with an angry monster. It would get a little messed up but not that bad at all. Nothing compared to the LEGEND among my doll reviews—Believix Bloom’s hair. I compare every single new Winx doll I get’s hair to her’s. Anyway, Aisha’s hair is pulled back in two little strings. I think it might look cuter if I took them out but I don’t know, I kinda like ‘em.

I love her shirt. It’s cute, accurate, simple. Not over-doing it or anything. She also has a blue necklace which I’m pretty sure she doesn’t have in the show, but I mean, what’s the harm in adding a necklace? It’s a cute one.

Her skirt is green and has the belts/stitches/whatever I call all that junk on her skirt printed on. It doesn’t look nearly as bad as it sounds. It actually looks just fine. Her skirt has one of those bands under it to keep it from riding up. My Believix Bloom has one of those, but it snapped. I hope this one doesn’t snap, since now Bloom wears her skirt at her belly button.

Her shoes are adorbs and they better use them on another release that doesn’t have to cover them up with leg-warmers. Speaking of legwarmers, these are cute. I know they look just straight and simple and not all scrunched down like she has them in the show, but honestly, you can just scrunch them down yourself. They’ll stay. The only way they’ll move around/fall off/ride up is if you play with her. In which case you can just fix them again when you’re done.

Her face is very cute! It’s my first budget Aisha face, so I can’t compare it to another one. Once I get Concert I will though. She has bright blue eyes and the double-eyelashes all the budget face-prints have. (right?) Her eyes are a bit livelier and taller than her Believix face. I think I prefer the Believix face for the serene look to it, but this one is fab too. Her lips are a bright pink, the same color as Everyday Flora and Bloom’s. But no, not all the Everyday lips are the same color—Musa’s are a much lighter pink and Stella’s are red. Not sure about Tecna’s—I haven’t seen her in person.

Overall I’d rate this doll an 8.5/10. There are a few little things that could’ve been done better, but she’s great the way she is too. <3

The next doll review you should be expecting is Everyday Tecna. I went to eight different stores looking for this doll this weekend and I DID NOT FIND HER. I will find her no matter what this weekend. Hopefully. Expect a review next week assuming I find her. After her the next Winx dolls I’ll buy will probably be either the remainder of the Everyday line, Harmonix depending on how soon they show up, or the Bloom/Sky two pack.

I’m running out of dolls on hold to do reviews of. Aisha was my last one. The only ones remaining that I could do/are complete enough for me to do are Simba Believix Flora, Simba Dance Roxy, and SDCC Blue Bloom. But SDCC Bloom is in the box and I’m not taking her out, so that might be kinda a lame review. But hey, if anyone wants Simba I’ll do it. Feel free to post a comment with your opinion. But really those are what I have left until I buy more, unless you want Mattel reviews. But that would be kinda useless since those dolls aren’t being sold anymore. And I only have two that are complete. Oh well, it won’t be long until I buy more Jakks anyway. With the exception of Everyday Tecna. Probably December. Maybe late November. Maybe.

Also, about next week, I’ll be doing a new blog post everyday! Or, trying to. Most likely I will, but if my internet decides to throw a fit again it might get postponed a day and you might get two one day. But anyway, you get my point. <3

Remember to tune into Winx Club this Sunday on Nickelodeon! And to check back on this blog for more new posts. ;)

Review: Season 5: Episode 11, Trix Tricks *SPOILERS*

YES, no episode 10! Episode 10 is the Christmas episode, which Nick is saving for Christmas. So that will ho up whenever they air it. Anyway, to the review! Sorry for this being a day late, my internet keeps having problems so I couldn't post it yesterday.

We start off with Daphne being tortured by the Trix and Tritannus so she would tell them about how to get Sirenix. Poor Daphne she just keeps getting tormented. She then proceeds to faint and Tritannus gets angry. They decide to go after Bloom so that Daphne will have some motivation to tell them. Daphne needs a break.

So we're at the Wind Riders competition, which we saw in the preview clip so I don't have to go over. (But really, why would you enter Sky in something like that when he just lost his memory.) How do those flaming cages stay in the air?

Somehow Sky manages not to die until the Trix come along and mess their bikes up. Also, before all this they kept tripping out Flora for giggles. They messed with Kiko too so Bloom chased him into her room where they got another Sirenix hint. This time about the flower of the depths. She comes out and Flora somehow knows it's about her. Aww, that's no fun. Stella calls driving the Odyssey Explorer. Have I mentioned Stella is my favorite character? Anyway, the specialists all jump off the bikes and the bikes turn into angry lions. Then the Winx decide to split up-- Bloom, Aisha, and Tecna will stay and deal with the lions, and Stella, Musa, and Flora will go to Lynphea. Also, somehow we only have three days left to get the last gem.

So at Lynphea we see the prettiest swamp marsh thing in the world. I want to just live in it. Stella's driving the Odyssey Explorer but she messes up and Flora asks her if she even knows how to drive it. Stella answers, "I said I wanted to drive it, not that I knew how!" I love Stella.

We come to a stop and Flora explains that some of the plants down there can be 'wild' which also means carnivorous. We get a cute little oh out of Stella and Musa then we dive. Where's Roy?
Back at Alfea the girls are all fighting the lions and they should be able to defeat them but for some reason they keep using kinda useless magic. Why would you make a Morphix hurdle Aisha, they're lions, they can just jump over it?

But then Sky says he has a plan. Oh boy. Are we really trusting the boy that didn't know if he had ever ridden a horse a few minutes ago? Also, he said "I rule at wind-riding, don't you remember?" and Bloom responded, "Yes, I remember!" That was cheesy. I love Winx Club.

Now at Lynphea again, we have dived (dived? diven?) into the water and Stella thinks a fish is a carnivorous plant trying to eat her. But it's not. It's a fish. Musa responds with, "It's a test of courage, Stella." I think Musa is my favorite character for this Season specifically.

So we see this big flower house that looks like it came out of Barbie Fairytopia and Flora heads on in. She starts talking to the flower of the depths which is inside (and I keep spelling depths depthes, thank goodness for spellcheck) but then it turns all oily and mutant. Oh, also, I didn't mention it but earlier Flora bonded with a selkie. It's name was like Daisy Reef or something. I couldn't understand it.

The mutant flower thing grabs Flora and tries to kill her??? Stella attacks it but then Flora insists they don't since she thinks she can get to it. ...Flora, you need all the help you can get right now. You're in a flower vine.

Flora manages to get it from the inside and turn it good again. That was a little too easy, but eh. The flower waves and does some motions that for some reason Flora can't understand. Wasn't that your thing, Flora?? So we get out our Sirenix box to translate. It does part of it then it goes back into it's box then it comes back out and says it got overexcited. That's not something you do when you get excited, Sirenixbox. Imagine when I bought a new doll I was excited to open it and I just hid in my box. See.

So basically the plant said something like, You were very brave Flora, you deserve to find the Gem of Courage. DESERVE. HA. Anyway it also said the Sirenix book would give the last clue soon so. Better be soon since apparently three days.

Back to Alfea! Sky has Bloom stand in front of the flaming cages since Bloom is who they're after, she calls them over, they're about to rip her to shreds when Sky flys by and grabs her and the lions each land in one of the three flaming cages (how coincidental) and are turned back into bikes. I don't really understand why that works but whatever. It worked.

The Trix are angry and Sky wants to take Bloom out on a ride since he won the competition somehow. They decide to go down to Roccalucce (SPELLING??!) Gorge and they ride off.

AISHA SAYS "LOOK, THERE SHE GOES WITH PRETTY BOY"

Since when do you hate Sky Aisha?!>?!? Was that one of the Trix talking or something did I miss something?! That was Aisha wasn't it?! Aisha what's wrong!!?

So uh, we're heading down to Roccalucce Gorge. Now Bloom and Sky know how to scream. Good job, Matt Shively and Molly Quinn. Anyway, the Trix come and shoot down their bike and they fall off a cliff. Wow.

Bloom faints or falls over or something when they land and I mean I can't even blame her we just fell off a cliff. The Trix show themselves and Sky gets angry and so does Bloom who is dizzy and can barely stand up. Sky decides he will protect Bloom but Icy freezes his feet to the ground.

Meanwhile Tecna and Aisha are still at Alfea and they're worried about Bloom and Sky (I just called Bloom Blomo oh goodness.) so they call up either Musa or Stella, I can't tell. And they say they're coming back and will be home in a few minutes.

So we're back at the gorge and they're about to destroy Sky to pieces but Bloom jumps in front of him and takes the hit. Now Tecna and Aisha arrive ready to kick some butt.

So basically Bloom and Sky are safe now and now Stella, Flora, and Musa arrives and everyone except Bloom and Sky fight the Trix. The highlight is that Aisha just grabbed Icy with her Morphix rope and slams her into a wall full speed. Aisha is amazing.

Fight ends, Trix go home and we have a lovey-dovey moment with Bloom and Sky where Bloom talks about how she's afraid he'll never remember, but she'll love him all the same and they should stop trying to save the past and embrace their future and make new memories together. They hug and kiss and agree to remember her saving him at the gorge, defeating the lions at alfea, and-- THIS KISS aww.

Next episode preview! Heading to Domino this time. Looks like the test is something about facing their fears?? We've done that lots of times but I love doing that so let's do it again. Also, we get to see Bloom's parents in 2d woohoo.

Thanks for reading, sorry it's up late!! Next week I'll post another one, and this week I plan to post another doll review. :) So be sure to check back!!

New Jakks Pacific Harmonix Dolls

So Jakks Pacific's official Facebook posted these!! So glad to see them. They're expected out January 2013.

Bloom is def my favorite from the line. They did the top absolutely perfectly, and well... did everything absolutely perfectly. Too in love. I already went over her in my previous post about MagixJourney posting her, so I won't go on too much about her.

Stella!!! Her wings, her everything! I wish they had made the top part of her shirt white like it is in the show but this works fine too. <3 I LOVE how they did her bangs too, those are perfect!! Her hair isn't in the high ponytail like it is in the show, but I mean how hard is it to put it in one. I think it'll make her look tons better. She's probably my third favorite of the line.

Flora is my second favorite of the line--  absolutely adore her! Her WINGS (I love the wings on these dolls obviously) and her hair... while it's not accurate, it's GORGEOUS!! I can't even decide if I want to pull it back and braid it like I was planning on doing if they didn't do it accurately @u@ Everything about her is perfect, no questions! Love love love.

Aisha is very nice <3 But there's something odd going on-- her wings are much too tall/wide, they're unbalanced. they need to chop off that very top part, because how it is right now it looks odd. I'm sure it'll look better in person though, no question. I love that they accurately did her crown, and the bodice!! I also still ADORE Jakks' deluxe Aisha face. It's one of my very favorites. Totally excited to get this doll.

Now there was something weird going on with the line up of this assortment-- apparently this is all there is, since on Jakks' page it said collect all four. Personally? I don't believe it. They know that Tecna and Musa are just as important characters as the others, and they would jump at the chance to make them too. Plus why make one full transformation line, and one not completed? Doesn't make sense, does it?

I think they're going to be exclusives to either ToysRUs and Target. Since there's no way they'd skip out on making them completely, it's not like they sold bad, they didn't. And it makes sense since they didn't show exclusive items at last Toy Fair either, the stores probably didn't want them to.

What do you think?

MagixJourney posts image of Jakks Pacific Bloom Harmonix Doll!

Image from Winx Wiki.

OMG, screaming! This doll is AMAZING. Jakks just blew Simba/Smoby/Witty toys' Harmonix Bloom out of the water, I'm in absolute love! This is absolutely perfect for a doll collector-- accuracy AND gorgeous-ness!

Can't post the actual image here since it's exclusive to MagixJourney ;) No reposting it! She says she'll be posting the rest over the remaining part of this week and next week. Gaahh, suspense! Who are you looking forward to seeing most? For me it's probably... all of them! But mostly Aisha and Musa. Then again, Stella is my favorite Winx. And I love almost all Flora dolls. And Tecna has a gorgeous Harmonix... who knows!

I love how they did the train-- it doesn't look cheap at all, and of course they couldn't have done that whole giant thing from the show. I'm SO glad they didn't do what Simba did and make the tops dark and use the Believix material... this is a million times better! It looks too amazing! The hair is gorgeous, sure I'll have to tie it back, but that's not hard at all! Look at her crown! And her WINGS! Gaaahuhdfg!!! <3 <3 <3

Review: Season 5: Episode 9, The Gem of Empathy *SPOILERS*

EDIT: Pictures added!

This episode wasn't as good as the last few, but it was still nice. <3 Here's my review!!

So we start out with Bloom having a dream where Daphne is being sucked into a weird void of pollution(?) and Bloom is trying to save her, but fails to. Then she wakes up and realizes she's late for class.

We then see WizGiz talking about age-change spells in a class with Stella, Flora, and Musa. ...that's a little groan-inducing. Like, come on, we know we're getting age-change later this episode but come on. Anyway, he ends and Stella shows the girls the designs she made. Flora compliments them and then Stella insists she tell her every little thing she loved. Helia calls, Flora does the classic "Helia!" like from the Lilo but Stella takes the phone away and insists she continue talking to her instead. Okay Stella you're my favorite character but you're really getting on my nerves right now. Stop that. >:C

Stella gets mad because she thinks Flora would rather talk to Helia then her so she calls up Brandon (who is just casually riding his DRAGON) saying it's an emergency. She then proceeds to do everything we saw in the Stella's Fashion clip so I can skip that.

Skip a little forward and Bloom, Aisha, and Tecna decide to go to Zenith to get the next gem. (hey wait, didn't Bloom just be dramatic and say she had her own thing to do in the last episode?) And we see Stella, Musa, and Flora in the archive of fashion or whatever it's called. Stella takes a brooch for "inspiration"... and it has an age-change spell on it. Woopsies. Aww cute baby Stella now. <3

We're now with Bloom, Aisha and Tecna on Zenith! Well first Tritannus took Zenith selkie's powers, but I mean he does that all the time do I really need to say that. Roy apparently was assigned to patrol Zenith's waters and he has MAGIC NO ROY. Don't try to be Nabu only Nabu can be Nabu :( well he uses it so he can breathe underwater. He then goes with the girls underwater to the Zenith castle which had a cool name but I don't remember it.

Oh Brandon has arrived to meet Flora and Musa... sees little Stella and he thinks she's adorable and plays with her. Wait what. I didn't expect that reaction shouldn't he be a little worried his girlfriend just got turned into a three year old?

Back to Zenith. Tecna bonds with Zenith selkie and then we arrive in the castle and fight some of Tritannus' merzombies. Tecna tries to get the gem which is at the top of some seat throne thing but it's stuck??? Either that or Tecna is REALLY weak. Doubt it though since Aisha tried too and couldn't get it. Anyway they touch some weird vine and start fighting. Tecna says it might've been poisonous so Aisha shouldn't touch it and on it goes from there. I guess it was a cursed vine??

They fight for a little while and everyone fights merzombies for a little while until finally Bloom casts a spell or hits or who knows Aisha and Tecna to make them stop fighting. They then realize the key to getting the gem out is to do it together. I don't really get that since Empathy is understanding others' feelings, not together-ness. It's okay though. Anyway, gem received.

We now go back to Stella, Brandon, Musa, and Flora. Brandon is wearing a headdress of some sort-WHY. Did he make it with little Stella or something?? My goodness Brandon. Anyway they put her to sleep with a bedtime story of like, Princess named Stella who became the best fashion designer ever or something. As soon as she falls asleep she flashes back to normal Stella and wakes up. Basically she has a "what happened?" moment and the others are just like "haha we met a nice little girl today" and she's all like ah okay. Wait she didn't learn a lesson. Why isn't she learning a lesson she was awful earlier??

Overall it was a cute episode but not one of my favorites of the Season. I hope the next episode is a little better. <3 Be sure to tune in next Sunday at 1pm EST to watch it!! :) Thanks for reading!

New Preview Clip: Spoiled Stella

New Preview Clip! This one's cute. It has a lot of Stella. I like Stella. Watch it here, on Nick's official site.

So Stella is hosting a fashion show with fashions that looked like they came off one of those runway shows where everyone is wearing like, big poofy odd dresses with crabs on them and stuff. You know what I mean. Kinda like Lady Gaga's style. Bloom appears in a rush. Why are you in such a rush Bloom?? Flora and Musa are just casually sitting there watching. Anyway she sits down and watches too.

Brandon runs in. Stella hangs clothes on him. Aww, don't do that Stella. That's not nice.

Anyway, fashion show starts. First girl comes out in what's in the picture above. I like first girl. She's cute. Roxy's in the audience but I didn't think that was anything special, I mean she just was there and then walked off later. Nothing important. First girl leaves and second girl comes out in an outfit that I don't really like. She was wearing the big Lady Gaga heels and a brown dress that didn't look very good. She fell over, making everyone leave. That doesn't make much sense to me. Wouldn't people help her up instead of just "eh"??

I did hear one background voice saying "I wouldn't wear clothing like that ever" or something like that. I kinda have to agree though, it's too flashy. Back to Brandon. Apparently Stella called him over here because it was an emergency. Oh, maybe that's why Bloom was running too. Brandon's mad that she lied to him and leaves, calling her immature. I can't really blame him. I am glad bratty Stella's making a reappearance though. Haven't seen much of her since Season 3.

Anyway, this clip was interesting but not the best. I am looking forward to this episode on Sunday though, I'll be doing an episode review when it airs! Be sure to watch it when it airs on Nick as well.
